I do not wear mascara very often, so this one works really well for me. I wanted something inexpensive that would get the job done when I need it, without feeling like I wasted money if I only use it a few times before it starts drying out. I do not need an expensive or professional-level product for the few times a year I use it. At this price point, I am happy with how it performs. Like other mascaras I have used, it does eventually start drying out and getting clumpy. The difference is that this one is inexpensive enough that I do not feel bad replacing it when that happens. It gets the job done, comes off for me with makeup removing wipes, and is a very fair value for the price. For someone like me who does not wear mascara often but wants something affordable to keep on hand, this is a great option.

My favorite mascara for years I’ve been using this Essence mascara for years, and it’s still one of my favorites. It makes my lashes look really beautiful and gives them a nice, defined appearance without needing too many coats. I also love that it’s affordable, especially considering how well it performs. The formula works really well for my everyday makeup routine and helps make my lashes look fuller and more noticeable. The only downside for me is that it comes off quite easily. While that makes it very easy to remove at the end of the day, it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a very long-lasting or waterproof mascara. Overall, I keep coming back to it because I love the way it makes my lashes look, and the price is hard to beat. Definitely a great budget-friendly mascara for everyday use.

This mascara is awesome. I love the brown color. Makes my lashes look nice and long. Lasts all day, washes off easily with soap and water, eye make up remover, etc. I go about 3-4 swipes on each eye top and bottom and it really makes my lashes pop. The 4 stars is because when you put the wand back in the tube and twist it close, you get a blob of wasted mascara all over the wand. See picture. For the money, great mascara.

I’ve tried a lot of mascaras over the years, and I keep coming back to this one. It gives my lashes great length and definition without looking overly thick or clumpy. The fiber brush separates each lash really well, so I can build it up without ending up with spider lashes. It lasts all day on me with very little smudging, and I love that it makes my lashes look naturally longer instead of obviously coated with mascara. For the price, the performance is honestly hard to beat. It’s become a staple in my makeup routine, and I’ll definitely continue repurchasing it. It deserves all the hype. I am a licensed Cosmetologist (specifically a makeup artist) and this is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve used.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting too much for the price. But wow, was I wrong. I love the Bobbi Brown mascara, but was looking for something more affordable. This will definitely be on repeat for me. The look is very similar to a tubing mascara. You get separation and volume. Doesn't flake during the day, and yet it comes off easily with eye makeup remover.

This mascara is Amazing. I started using this about 2 years ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. The price is affordable and the benefits are huge. I have tried high priced name brand mascara that does not give me the results of this affordable brand. This is the only mascara I use. It lengthens my lashes to the point where I'm constantly asked if I'm wearing false lashes. I am not a lover of fake lashes, and this brand allows me to have volume and length without messy glue. My sister and niece kept complimenting me and was amazed that I was not wearing lashes, so I recently gifted them both with this mascara brand. This is tried and true for me and I will not use any other brand. So go ahead and try this affordable brand and love your lashes as I do!!

You should know I am a makeup snob, and I love this product! I normally buy $30 dollar Tarte brown mascara. Need to save money. For only $4.95 this product is worth it!! See photo: left pic is my old mascara ($30 bucks tarte brand color brown) right pic is this new mascara. Pros: -Bold big lashes. As you can see from the photo this product makes your lashes big. - Nice color. The brown is darker brown than I usually go for. I usually go for a natural looking medium brown shade. - Cost: the price is so good!! Only $5 bucks. So very worth it. - Buildable. You can keep adding more product for an enhanced effect. Cons: - Smudges. Little chunkies might fall onto your face and you will have to clean it up a little. It’s not enough of a problem for me to say it’s not worth it. I think it smudges more with me because I wear a lot of oily creams. - Makes my eye water if I get in my eye. My old mascara did not do this. - Chunkier than my old mascara but this mascara makes my eyelashes look way bigger so it’s a good trade off. - If you are going for a natural understated look this is not the product for you. It is bold. - More difficult to remove than my old mascara but it certainly isn’t the most difficult kind to remove. I have used mascaras that are much more difficult to remove than this one.

This is my absolute favorite mascara of all time and out of their line. It doesn't flake off like the pink one does. It comes off with oil. It builds beautifully, especially by the third coat. Work quickly with it. It's best when it's a couple of weeks old and has had time to thicken; you could leave it cracked overnight for a day or so to quicken the process. When I'm done, I run the Telescopic mascara wand through it, but you can use any fine mascara wand that lengthens. It's the absolute perfect combination. I have medium-long lashes, and it makes them look super long. You can overdo it and make them spidery if that's what you want, but the Telescopic wand fixes that, as long as you do it before it dries. Some say this bleeds a tiny bit while sweating, and that's true that you might want to check it after a couple of hours if you've been sweating or outside, but it's usually not a problem for me. It's not a lot of product that bleeds when sweating, just a bit of grey if anything. This has a superb EWG rating, meaning it's not toxic and is very safe.
