I remember you could buy a 1 refill pack from Zippo (0.15 oz. 5ml.) so it should last you around 25 refillsAs mentioned before by Andre do not overfill, a lot of people lose fluid because of that.

Can the top be taken off to be refilled? I would actually like to use this as a dropper bottle for oil painting medium.

Yes, and it actually lasted longer than I expected despite being used often.

I've used Ronsonal but notice a toxic smell from it when used in the house. Does Zippo have much less smell?

No, I've spilled it by mistake and the smell doesn't lurk or anything
