Review: Love this for quick use! - I used to have a similar mandolin, that the handle broke off. (it was decades old, and not the same brand) I have bigger mandolins that do different cuts, and are bigger and more difficult to use. I use this almost every day. It’s easier to get out, since it’s flat and goes into a drawer easily. I’ve used it on onions for caramelizing, cheese for snacking, potatoes for hash browns and apples for eating or in recipes. It has 3 different thicknesses, so it works for most everything you need. It works quickly, and seems very sturdy. The blades are sharp, so be careful and use the holder for everything you are slicing. That makes it safer for the fingers and hands. It’s easy to use, fits in your hand well. The price is very reasonable. I do recommend this product.

This item meets all your slicing needs, be it carrots, garlic, finger tips, or cucumbers, this item does it all. Fast, safe (USE THE FRIGGING CHOP GUARD!!!) and reliable. Highly recommended.
