And that did *not* solve the problem. I did it because that sensor was directly o the crank. I learned later that Honda has weird terminology.I then diagnosed the three distributor sensor circuits with my ohm meter. One (connector pins 2 & 6) was slightly flaky, but the other two were totally fine at around 405-420 ohms. Then after a 10 minute drive, the one on pins 2 & 6 totally flaked out and was an open circuit. So I ordered this. It worked great, and right away, and permanently.The learning for me was that the CKP *crank* position sensor, unlike any other engine ever made, was inside the distributor.The one other learning was that no sensors below the rotor are a replaceable items.I guess that's ok, given that the distributor is not too expensive.And it comes with a new cap and rotor.There was a cheaper one, but this one claimed to have Japanese electronics.I had nothing else to on on for quality, so I picked this one.It's been great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to install *by J***2 on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2018* My mechanic wanted hundreds of dollars to replace my distributor because the seals were bad and oil was getting into the distributor.
