Great set!
I found this set to be very good overall. I really like the heroes (for the most part) & the villains/MM. Fin Fang Foom can be pretty challenging, & Pagliacci is great for a more relaxed pace that doesn't always feel like a free win. I like all the heroes aside from Gwenpool, though I will say I find TA Hulk to be a bit bland.

Best non mainstream board game to play
Took a while to figure out but once you know what to do it’s the best game you can play, alone or with friends. And since it’s marvel, the heroes and villains are relatable. I love the option to add more to it without taking away from the awesome game experience

So good I bought it twice (for a friend obviously)
Much like X-men was the best big box since Dark City, this might be the best small box expansion since the first couple were released. The art is solid and continues to be quality on that front. This was the one area that the first 3 or so expansions were lacking in. The Heroes are a mixed bag. Gwenpool could have been regulated to a "goof" set like the Deadpool one as she just isn't a serious toon at any level. They didn't even bother to give her a decent name. TA Hulk isn't as good as the standard version, and just seems redundant. Nova is new and refreshing both as a character and his cards. Definitely the breadwinner here. Ms. Marvel is all right. And finally Viv isn’t what you would expect from a "young" Vision, which isn't a bad thing. The amount of size changing allows you to recruit most of rares for 5 even though they have a face value of 9. It should also be noted that not a single hero follows the 3c, 4c, 5/6u, 7/8r, pacing that 50% of all heroes have. This is also great as they are allowing heroes to all build their own place and pacing (in particular when so many have sizechanging). Only having one new keyword and having the rest as repeats.......THANK GOODNESS. The amount of rules sheets that you need handy is just obnoxious at this juncture when you have a bunch of these expansions adding too many fiddley keywords. I'm holding judgement of whether you can just add this set in with the base heroes game when playing with brand new players and have legitimately making sound recruitment decisions, but I'm thinking it's rather doable, which is a mark that hasn't been achieved since the previously mentioned PTTR expansion. The Masterminds and Villains are some of the finest on offer, even if Pagliacci is more of a D-lister. Fing Fang Foom is just awesome. Having Epic versions as the standardis a great thing moving forward. They were also forced to come up with Epic versions without the use of the Horror cards as you can't assume everyone with this expansion would have access to them, and I feel they delivered. Pagliacci, for example, can actually make normally weak schemes tough with the extra twists going off. The Wrecking Crew is also one of the most overdue Villain groups and a nice addition with the re-used Demolish mechanic from the "Villains" base game. The schemes are also very solid as well and showed that time was taken to get some new experiences out of this set. Pros - Unique Pacing for all of the heroes, including cheaper rares if invested in that hero's deck - Masterminds are solid with Epic Versions if you and your play group feel like vets looking for a real challenge - Extremely thematic Villains, including the much requested Wrecking Crew - Only one new keyword with several re-used - Schemes are interesting, even with the lack of ideas - Excellent Art. Honestly one of the best sets on that front Cons - Heroes can be considered fringe, weak, and even repetitive in the Hulk's case. - This is more then likely another Hero team that will never be supported or have members added again. That's not the biggest deal in the world some players that always handpick, but if you are setting up the game as intended (randomly), with 35+ X-men and 25+ Avengers available, these 4-5 man teams just get buried and are almost never going to have 2 members pulled to have a better chance to customize your deck and get those team triggers. So an overall success here. The Heroes are probably going to be the biggest point of contention for the reasons listed above that might cause some to take it or leave it, but I feel there is enough there to appeal to all even in that area. This is definitely another set where the Villains and schemes and such are the real sell and a worthy addition to anyone's Legendary ranks.

I love it! A must buy for Champions fans
As a reader of the Champions comic and a fan of Legendary, this is a great addition to the games arsenal. Would’ve loved if some of the villains were some of their bigger ones but meh. That’s a nitpick if anything.

Eccellente mini-espansione.
