It only weighs 6 oz which makes it great for traveling and on the go! The jacket can be packed into it's own pocket; equivalent to the size of a softball. **Q: I wear 2x shirts and have larger mid stomach area. Do I have to order a 3x instead?** A: I ordered a 2X and definitely have a medium gut from Mexican food, it was very roomy in the waist but not crazy.
