Which replacement line spool?

This model takes replacement line AF-100.

Is there any height adjustment on mower?

Yes, it has two cutter adjustment: 1.5 " and 2.3 ". You just have to move the 4 wheels up or down and the cutter hight changes.

Is there a way to disable the auto line feed? Ours goes through a spool of string in a 10x12 space of yard.

Not to my knowledge, I know the string is automatic and therefore do not bump to feed the spool. I did not have that problem and have mowed twice and have .14 acre. Maybe it is the spool? Are you using the recommended spool for the trimmer AF-100? Black & Decker has a website to answer questions/complaints. I did read this problem in another review.
