Did the trick!
Works fine! I couldn't figure out how to make the bottom bulb work, so I cut it off and knotted it- did the trick!

Tought to thread though.
I needed to replace my broken straps for my Mazda. I like how you can adjust the length of the string to your preference. It was really hard to thread the string through the rubber ball. Make sure you thread the string through the ball the correct way before you fix the length.

Build quality
Purchased a Bonaire island rental car which is a 2019 JAC S2 (Chinese made). This should fit as it close in size to the model it’s recommended for. Will install on my return trip. Looks like it’ll do the trick. I had the lid but no lift cords.

Impossible to thread string through
No instructions and the string came apart when I tried to thread it through by twisting. It ended up not working cuz the casing would bunch around. Waste of money unfortunately.

No instructions needed
Good enough, the ends aren't burnt neatly so the string can be tough to thread thru the rubber ball.
