They are truly heavy, in a good way - in a soothing, warm hug type of way. I’m someone who struggles with anxiety (especially at nighttime) and I haven’t always loved going to bed, but I actually look forward to it now because my bed is so cozy with this amazing weighted blanket. The only thing to look out for is if you have a small dog that sleeps in the bed with you, it can be hard for them to maneuver underneath it so I always keep it askew to one side of the bed and roll up the other side so my dog can get in and out of the blankets as she needs to without struggle. I’ve tried other brands of weighted blankets, and they just didn’t compare to this one.
