Power cowl vent conversion
Used this to operate my cowl vent on my 1941 ford truck since it has a/c you couldn’t use the stock mechanical lever. Worked out great after figuring the mounting and a must for me was ditch the rocker switch and use a double pole double throw momentary switch. Took a little welding and fab work, but much cheaper than the kits they sell.

Works great. I fabricated a chute blocker for my mower and this actuator works flawlessly to open and close it. It took some trial and error to get my brackets just right but I pulled it off. I’m not sure why people pay $300+ for a chute blocker and I have about $40 and an hour labor in mine that is super simple.

Head broke off on second use with a 25lbs of force.

Worked but still broke first use
I'm rating it a 3 because the plastic tip stripped during the first use. Everything else functioned properly, but I had to create my own adapter to replace the unreliable plastic end.
