LCD Digital Coffee Maker Temperature Sensor Thermometer for E61 Group Head Espresso Coffee Machines Temperature Gauge Monitor

Replaced a much-older (and malfunctioning) temperature gauge with a basic digital display and manual switch (forget to turn it off? Battery dies..) This is a much-nicer option that looks "almost factory" on my Vetrano. Yes, its an older HX model but still chooches out the great Espresso but, being that it is not PID-equipped flushing is the way you get "fine" control of brew temperature thus the desire for this. I like it; settable for either Fahrenheit or Celsius whichever way you prefer. As for quality and value we'll see how it does over time.

I can now brew my coffee with temperature precision! Easy to install, and it has been very durable.

The sensor is sleek and looks great with my machine. The accuracy is remained to be seen. So far it appears to be accurate with some slightly slow refresh rate. It refreshes quick when you pull the shot, but a bit slow when it comes to rising and dropping temp. I plan on asking seller accuracy tolerance. I appreciate the number size and automatic timing out. Lastly, the gaskets provided could be better.

This is well made and perfect. I like then design and size of this and having auto off is fantastic.

A must!! I have transferred this to a newer Rocket Espresso machine. I don’t understand why machines don’t come with it? The head of the machine can overheat at times so it’s best to know, then you could run the hot water before running it over your grounds and have a better cup of coffee. It does come only in Celsius. Trust me you get used to metic too Esp for important things as that coffee of the day!

This is a well made product that fits perfectly in my older e61 Vetrano. easy install. i immediately learned that the water that the Vetrano was generating was way hot and i was not doing a good job of surfing to get a proper temp between 195 & 205. i adjusted the pressure stat and experimented with various surfing approaches to get the temp i wanted. i was very pleased.

I thought it would look silly on my machine but it looks great and works really well. Initially didn’t like the price but a year later it’s still working great and only recently had to change the battery so I’m happy. I have this installed on a Turin Gallatin (hx)
