This torch kit does what it’s supposed to and works well for general cutting and welding jobs. It was fairly easy to set up and everything fit together like it should. It feels solid enough for occasional or hobby use, though I wouldn’t call it heavy-duty. Overall, it’s a good option if you need a complete kit for home projects and don’t want to spend a fortune.

Always wanted an Acetylene torch. I work on our cars and there is always something that needs to be cut off or torched to get a bolt/nut off. Never really knew what all was needed. I took this to the local welding shop and they were able to help me out and get me the correct tanks. I then started watching a bunch of videos on how to properly use it and do certain things. Needless to say it is not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Mind that you do need to understand the gasses and how to attach everything but so far I'm wondering why I didn't have this sooner. It's been extremely helpful when I had to cut off a bracket from my truck. And it is soooooo much easier to heat up a nut and get it cherry red compared to the propane little torch I was using. Seems to be a good kit. I don't have any experience on other equipment but as a DIY/garage person this so far is working out quite well for me. As a professional I would imagine they would want something larger.

Everything I need but they didn't fit the tanks I have

This kit has everything you need, and in the sizes you need for a smallish torch kit. Except for the bottles of gas. Buying this is saving me a whole lot of money. The torch and tips in this kit solved a problem for me. I received everything yesterday and couldn't wait to get it hooked up. The gauges are superior and accurate and the threads are great. My neighbor knows that I have been blundering with what I was trying to use for months. When he saw me yesterday hooking everything up he came over to check it out. He was so impressed with the kit he now wants to get one for himself.

I am a DIY guy, and having a good torch around when you need it is a must. Whether cutting off a rusted bolt or heating a rusted bolt to break it free, this is a perfect set for you. I do not have a large garage to keep huge tanks for cutting. This allows me to use smaller bottles, keep the torch's footprint down, and keep it on the shelf. The kit has everything you need to get going. Now, I had to buy an adapter to use some smaller Acetylene bottles, but that was cheap and worth it. great kit.
