This is the first time I ever used my own hair dying product. I can’t believe how good it looks. It literally looks like I went to the hairdresser and spent $300. I put it all around the temples, sides and forehead where the gray shows and rubbed it in while I had the gloves. I then did the middle part and then I just spread it on the roots all over my head. I left it on for 20 minutes and took a shower. Absolutely fabulous product. I’m gonna be using this forever .

I was hesitant, but I’m also extremely tired of paying $200 every 6 weeks and sitting in the salon chair for 3-4 hours, when it’s just my front roots that actually need more coverage that often. I gave this a shot, so glad I did! Covered my grays and blended almost perfectly! I brushed onto my hair along my hairline and sides, left it on for 15 minutes and it honestly looks like I just left the salon. This will give me at least another 3-4 weeks before going to the salon! Very impressed with this product!

This is very good for touch up. Actually I use it on more of my hair. Just be careful not to use it on really really light blonde hair because it can turn it back to gray.

The color was just what I wanted and easy to use. I have already ordered my 2nd one!

Not really for root coverage, just grey hairs. I’m naturally pretty blonde and this didn’t do anything for me, so definitely take note of the “grey coverage” aspect. It won’t lighten your natural hair if you don’t have grey hairs, but I can’t speak to the grey effect. For reference, this is my natural hair

Ive never tried this L’Oréal Paris Magic Root Rescue on my hair roots before and I am impressed how well this works! I put it on areas that can be seen with how I do my hair style and truly impressed how well it works! So easy to mix and use. I love how it comes with 2 type heads to use while applying. The gloves are great for rubbing it in more after I applied with the bottle. It does smell but not really bad. You could wear a mask to help with smell. I applied in bathroom then walked out to another room during my 10 minute wait and kept checking the color. Smell didn’t last long. Definitely a great product for touch ups!

This product was not good for my hair. It leaves no shine and feels sticky. The color comes off on your hands after the suggested time to wait to see the result of dry spraying, and also you cannot touch or style your hair properly. I would not buy it again.

I bought this product expecting it to cover only my roots, exactly as stated in the description. The box indicated shade number 9 (blonde), which is the color I selected. I applied the product as instructed and waited 10 minutes. When I went to rinse my hair, I was shocked to see that my hair had turned red, almost strawberry-colored. Now the color on the top of my hair will not come out, and my hair looks like a rainbow. I do not recommend this product. Instead of saving money, it ended up being more expensive, since I now have to go to a salon to fix the damage and pay even more. This product completely spoiled my hair

I have been using this product for at least ten years! I have only ever done my roots and this gives me amazing coverage. I put the product in a glass bowl, mix well and paint it on my roots in small sections and it does my full head. People, including my hairdresser of 22 years, are always telling me.. “don’t mess with perfection! It looks FANTASTIC” . L’Oreal must never discontinue this 🙏

perfect only for the hair roots

Used on blonde dyed hair, roots are dark. Doesn’t work at all, not even the slightest bit on the blonde pieces to make it brighter.

I get salon highlights every 12 weeks. My hair is a ashy dark blonde/brown and quite thin. Tried this in a pinch since I had two events and no time to do professional job. When I'm due for colour, my hair gets very limp and greasy looking. Product(light blonde #9) was very easy to use. Mixed and applied within a few minutes and left on for about 8 minutes. Used a purple shampoo after and left it on for a few minutes to tone any brassiness. One bottle did my whole head and some to spare. Results were amazing and very natural. I highly recommend this product and would use it again.
