Ours has been left in the garden for a couple months in all weathers and hasnt really weathered or deflated. It's a good size and all-round football for under 10 year olds that looks great (who doesnt love fluorescent footballs and the nike swoosh?).I have also started coaching an under 9 football team and these balls were recommended as practice/team footballs to get, so have since bought a fair few of them for the team for use during training - would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Training Ball - Use on the Right Surface *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 February 2026* The Nike Pitch Team Training Football is a solid ball for the price, but it’s important to use it on the right surface.In my experience, this ball is best suited for grass or astroturf. The flight and feel are good, and it’s easy to control during normal play. The bright green colour also makes it very easy to see, which is helpful in different lighting conditions.However, I wouldn’t recommend using it on concrete or hard surfaces. My friend and I were using it in a backyard without grass, and since it was constantly hitting a wall and hard ground, the ball started to show damage. The outer layer became scuffed, and the stitching began to come loose. It’s clearly not designed for repeated impact against hard surfaces.If you’re planning to use it properly on grass or artificial turf, I’d say go for it, it’s a good value training ball.
