Bromic Heating BR-WRCW ON/Off Remote Controller, Putty

Some of the previous reviews suggest this is difficult to install. My electician had absolutely no issues at all. He was intrigued with the unique design, but there were zero issues. We are very happy with the two levels of heat, and the controller is simple and straightforward.

Heaters remotes work well

Bought these and the heaters. Heaters worked great but the remotes worked for a week and after several electricians figured out they are defective.

Easy to setup and comes with remote preprogrammed. Straight forward install with included directions.

I had no location to easily install a switch so remote control was the best option for my heater set up. I was able to install the controller out of site behind a stucco wall. I was concerned the signal would not pass through for the controller - but I have not issues controlling the heater when I am within 8-10 feet of the control unit. The controller is just on/off - but since I can control each element of my heater independently I have a low/high heat. It will shut off automatically after 30 minutes - which is nice for forgetting it is on but not good when you are out under the heat for longer than that. The wiring was a little funky. I had to remove the cable glands completely to get the wiring into the unite (not too big a deal for a fully protected install - but not good if outsider or accessible). Also the terminations for wiring on the controller were undersized for the wire used by my electrician. Got it working but didn't seem like it was made for a typical US set-up. All in all like it - been working will for over 2 years & sitting under my Bromic heater now writing this!

Works great, has two "channels" so I can add another heater if so desired, and was easy to install and program. By not having to run wiring to a wall switch, wiring the heater was simpler and cheaper.

Should have read the reviews. This is NOT a US compliant controller - it’s made in Italy to European standards. Took a very creative US electrician to adjust wiring to US code & standards. This should not be marketed in the US.
