Alumicolor 3000 Series 6-Inch Red Mini Aluminum Triangular Engineer Scale (3210-4)

This red mini scale ruler is perfect for my work bag or pocket. I'm not an engineer but I work with ground plans to build theatre sets, so having this handy in my back pocket is important and it's even better that it doesn't break when I squat or bump into scenery. The tube is helpful when traveling so it doesn't catch the fabric liner of my bag. Can confirm that it is not magnetic, but it doesn't need to be. Would buy again!

I've had this for about 6 months now. Works awesome if you have to read plans often. Same size as a pen, so I just slide it in my pocket. Don't have to look like a goof with a giant plastic scale walking around a job site. Finish hasn't really worn any.

I use this for engineering homework. The selection of scales are really nice for maintaining a consistent scale for axes when graphing. My circuit diagrams are also much cleaner when using this. The tube that it is sold in does not hold up well to being transported in a backpack -- mine broke into pieces within 2 months despite being careful with how I packed it. Not the biggest problem if you have access to a 3d printer to create a better case.

The edges were a little sharp due to poor finishing, but nothing a small hone couldn't quickly take care of. But the point is I should have to take care of it on a new product, thus the lost star.

Looking for a ruler to put in my briefcase for work - occasionally need to measure, draw lines etc and this little 6 inch ruler is a perfect addition to my travel pencil and pen kit. Solid aluminum, well made, very good product.

This is a great little scale ruler. It is a little hard to read under some kinds of light, maybe it is the color?
