The conductors did NOT fill the guide holes and that allowed a lot of space for movement.That meant that the conductors would shift out of alignment a tiny bit but enough for the pins NOT to pierce the conductors and create a proper connection, basically making the whole plug useless.I attempted around 20 connections, only 2 worked for me.I will try to use "toolless rj45 plugs" in the next few days but I suspect I will also have a problem because of the size of individual conductor wires. I'll post an update of the review when I try it.I suspect the cable is not 23 AWG as advertised, but I the cable works so I don't want to send it back.It just means I need to either find a plug that works with it - or solder the conductors to a cable with the connector already attached (it sucks but not really a huge problem for me).Just be aware of what you're getting. If you're using standard plugs and tools - you might want to go with the thicker cable. ### ⭐ Poor performance *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 February 2025* Professionally installed.
