Five Stars
Love my new coffee mill!!!!!!!! It is easy to assemble, and it is sturdy and light. It is sort of "primitive" because it is absolutely manually operated and if you store it in its handy box, you will have to assemble it every time you use it. Milling the coffee beans becomes hypnotic. And, so, my right arm is happy for being so useful in the process. The exercise is quite nice and calming. Using great coffee beans is essential if you want to enjoy the incredible aroma that foretells an enticing brew. A coffee mill reminds us all that coffee is not just a dark, wakeful liquid, but a sort fleeting eternity where body and soul come together to open your eyes and your soul. The mill is sturdy, has a funny an funky shape, it has several settings to control grind size, the grinding mechanism is simple to use and to clean... what else can I say?!?!?

Needs manual adjustment to actually get the right grind you want
Despite the silly brand name that makes me think "cheap Chinese knock-off," this is a decent grinder. The packaging is nice and the quality of the grinder's components is surprisingly good. It has a great compact, portable size and is very easy to disassemble. Though not marked for measurement, the grounds cup holds about 2 cups' worth (40g) of whole beans. The instruction 'booklet' is a cheaply printed, folded one-sheet that shows you how to fill and clean the grinder and gives you warranty information. The 16 grind settings are a joke - at the '16' setting, you're getting a grind that's a bit too fine for French press. As is, with the wingnut tightly secured, moving the setting closer to '1' only moves the grinding components so close together that they barely move or lock up entirely. It seems to me there should be an additional spacer in the main well, positioned above the burr grinder, that gives it more separation and makes the settings viable. To get around this problem, I have unscrewed the bottom wingnut to give the rotor more space and achieve the grind I want for my Press. This also makes turning the hand crank easier, though it requires a slow, easy rhythm so the motion doesn't completely unscrew the grinding wheel and have it drop into the cup. From this point, changing the settings actually does something, and at the '1' setting you can get the fine grind necessary for a drip cup.

Worked great for a month...
The grinder just broke. A small metal piece fell out and now the burr portion doesn't stay in. I just took the whole thing apart trying to figure it out. Wasn't doing anything different, just normal coffee bean grinding like i had several times before. Great... and just past the 30 day return window... waste of money.

Makes great coffee mud
So far everything is in tack and grinding. The settings suck because even at the highest setting you can't get large enough granules to make French press.. But it does grind coffee beans to a dust which turns to "coffee mud"

Uncomfortable to hold. Awful screeching noise.
This grinder is too large to be comfortably gripped. It makes a very unpleasant screeching sound from friction during use; it’s worse in this regard than other grinders I’ve used. The rotating lid seems pointlessly over-engineered;a simple pop-off lid would be more practical and easy to clean.

You won't be disappointed. This item arrived well packaged and in good ...
Ignore the negative comments and buy this grinder. You won't be disappointed. This item arrived well packaged and in good order. It came in an attractive gift box and included a little instruction sheet. It is a manual coffee grinder, so there is not much to understand. The diagram for disassembly/assembly is probably the most essential part. The hopper has good openings for inserting the beans. There is no way to tell how much it is holding once you've added the beans so measure them out before you add them to the hopper. The coarseness adjustment is easy to make by turning the dial. The grinding operation itself is smooth and easy. It only takes a few minutes to complete. I've seen some complaints that the ground coffee is not of uniform size. I've never seen one yet that can do that so maybe I'm just ignorant but I haven't had a problem yet making coffee from the grounds produced by this grinder.Clean up is easy as all parts are washable.I am very happy that I made this purchase and I think you will be as well.

I love the tiny stuff with multi-function
Sooooo cute! You can see from the picture that I can even hold it by only one hand! I love the tiny stuff with multi-function. I mean, who dosn’t love this kind of stuff? It is very portable. I just love it! I have been using it for almost a week, and I can say that I don’t need anyone else after this one. Because you can use it for grinding coffee beans, of course, my boyfriend is really a coffee lover, he especially loves collecting different kind of coffee beans. In the past days, we have to ask others to grind them for us, now, we can grind it at home. That saves us a lot of time! And also if you are more creative, you can even grind spice or other beans by yourself like what we did! Lol! All in all, five stars product!

Great little grinder
This is very easy to use and clean. I was looking for a quality burr grinder and this has fit the bill. However, I have taken a star off because the upper body could really use a rubber or silicone grip band. I've had to wrap some rubber bands around mine to keep it from turning in my hands while I grind beans. That is my only complaint after 2 or more years of use and the only reason I have taken a star off.
