excellent, sturdy ....a little heavy to carry easily but worth the effort.

This has to be the best music stand I have ever used. I have been playing for years. I have used every kind of stand from the cheap silver wire ones you can fold up and almost put in your pocket, up to the Manhasset stands that are almost solid metal. I have to say, this is the best of them all. The moment I opened the box and put the thing together, I could feel the quality. This is one solid stand. I love the way it is designed. You can raise or lower the feet depending on how much space you have at the bottom. This comes in handy when you are playing gigs where space is an issue. Also, I love the clamps that lock it in place, They feel sturdy and seem to hold well. Finally, when you spread the feet out on this thing, you cannot push it over with ease. It would take a major gust of wind to blow it over, yet, it is still rather light weight. All in all, I would highly recommend this stand to any serious musician in search of a solid, well designed and built music stand. I already own an OnStage boom stand and it is great, so I knew I would not go wrong buying their music stand. An excellent choice.

Substantial stand of high quality. I use it to hold my iPad Pro while riding my static trainer and it’s really secure as the magnet snaps it on to the large flat metal back. Has good adjustments and is very stable.

I bought one of these (supposedly exactly the same model including number) from my local music shop a couple of years ago and it's very strong and good quality. Having bought another more recently I notice a big difference in the build quality with the metal seemingly much thinner and more easily flexed. It's still a decent quality stand but it seems to me they have changed it a bit to cut production costs.

Used this for years. Sturdy and useful. Not only have I put music sheets and iPads etc. I’ve even put art canvasses of various sizes on it for painting. It is so durable. Of course I wouldn’t encourage putting heavy things on it all the time. But I put 20 x 24 inch canvasses on it plenty of times and it is STILL going strong. It is quite heavy. But that’s because it’s durable and won’t fly away. How many gigs have had music stands tilt over and music (or iPads) falling all over the place? This one would NEVER. It is great. The tighteners are easy to use and you can feel that it’s tightened well enough. I’ve also used it to hold items like laptops and stacks of books and random things like a shelf. It’s super sturdy. Super versatile. The only slight downside is that because it’s heavy (durable), it’s not the easiest to travel with. You can take it apart but it’s still big pieces. I’ve done it and just end up carrying it as is without taking it apart. But again since it’s so dependable and durable I don’t mind. But if you’re looking for a portable music stand that’s light and easy to put in a bag, this would be heavy to carry around. Doable but heavy. I’d still recommend it for the other pros though.
