Excellent cooler. Well-made. Numerous carrying options. Thick insulation. Two bottles of frozen water, 12 cans of carbonated water and 16 lbs of ice lasted 4 days with several openings each day. There was still ice when I dumped the super cold water at 4 days and 4 hours. I have no way of knowing how others with shorter functional times are using theirs. I put pre-chilled cold drinks on the bottom, then add the frozen water bottles and finally fill it all the way up with ice. High value product given the modest price.

Update to my previous 5 start review. Have had cooler for 6 months and the zipper already broke. This made me so sad since we spent so much money on it! Bought this for my husband as a gift and he LOVES it. Great for the money.

The cooler is a little bulky, but I think that is more a result of the thick insulation than due to flawed design. Even after using the provided lubrication the zipper can be tough to open one handed (I drive with this in my front seat and get things out to eat one handed while on the road), but it seems like the zipper will be durable, which is good. The shoulder strap is also very hearty and comfortable. The zipper on my old cheap cooler broke, which is why I got this one. Only real complaint I have is I would like it to have one more pocket on the outside to store extra items such as keys, wallet, non cold snacks etc. Keeps ice very well in hot car left in parking lot. I've had it for about 3 or 4 months so far and am happy with it.

The build quality is great. I noticed that ice doesn't stay that long. I did a test last night. 12 hours in an airconditioned, 72 degree house and the ice was all water after 12 hours. I don't consider that very good. I wish I would have bought the Yeti.

Excellent cooler for the price. Keeps usable ice for two days and doesn’t completely melt for several days. Good medium size- large enough for a day trip to the beach, but not too big/heavy to be unmanageable. I have had none of the reported problems with the water tight zipper. I lubricated it twice in several months and it works fine. I’m glad I bought it rather than a more expensive one.

Bought this for my last camping trip and I'm pleased with size, cooling and handling. Great product, of course price could be always a little lower ;-)

Unfortunately the zipper tab is weak, very weak. I lubricated the zipper more often than directed but the tab snapped off after just a handful of uses. I have to use a piece of wire or a zip tie to open and close. The unit is a little smaller than I had expected but the performance is awesome. I tested mine against another well known brand and it kept ice frozen for over 24 hours longer. I hope my cheap fix keeps working, the zipper seems ok but no pull tab. Since being able to open and close the ice chest is important, I have to review this item low. I truly wish there was not a minor flaw that is major. Had it for several months now and works well. Zipper does get stiff and is tricky to get the lube on it in the right way to get it to smooth out. Once you get the hang of getting it applied then it works good.
