Kidzbanz children's sunglasses, 2-5 years Review: Brilliant! - Lovely colour, fits my 19 month old, who has a large head (over the 98th centile), fine with room to expand as he grows. He tried to pull them off at first but they ended up round his neck, which is better than on the floor, but then kept them on all around the park. The Velcro is slightly thick on the right where it can be adjusted but this doesn't bother my son and they can be moved up just above his ear so as not to push his ear out so this is fine and I like the fact that they can be adjusted. Review: Good lenses and build quality - Good lenses and build quality. I bought these for my 17 month old son who is average size for his age (55% quartile). After a bit of positive praise, he was motivated to wear them and he likes them. Perhaps if his head was slightly larger and not so rounded at the back, the elasticated band would have less of a tendency to gradually slip down at the back. This means I am conscious of the band sliding down over the top part of his ears and often make them stick out a bit. The band does not fit as well as traditional arms on sunglasses but children with larger heads may have a better experience. I am currently using the smallest and tightest adjustment level and perhaps if i could make it a bit tighter, this would reduce the slipping effect at the back. The Glasses say age 0-2 but I would suggest 12 months - 36 months is a more accurate guideline.

BabyBanz - lifesaver and so cheap!
Our 6 month old daughter wears these all the time since we bought them when she's out in the sunshine and even sometimes in the back of the car when the sun comes in the back window. It's worth paying the extra few quid for these Adventurer ones coz they are very comfy on her and she never even tries to pull them off. Great invention and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Baby Banz Adventure
I have just bought these glasses for our 11 month old. On face value the glasses are good quality and very durable. They also look very cool. The only problem is they are extremely tight on our son's head, even on the slackest of settings. They are far too tight for him to wear and he just screams and tries to pull them off. I just cannot imagine that they would ever fit a 2 year old child. The product states it is suitable for head circumference of 38-43 cm and from 0-2 years. I have just measured our son's head and it is about 47cm which is too big for the glasses, however i foolishly went by the product description. If you look at your 'red book' the average head circumference of a 2 year old would be 49cm, so beware and make sure you measure your babies head before buying this product. Unfortunately we are off on holiday tomorrow so i have no time to buy the kidz banz as a replacement.

Looking cool
My boy has been receiving positive comments from people. Yet, the vanity is all mine and the kid wouldn't want to wear them on his face. Only around the neck to chew on ;-) No size problem for us (He is a big boy at 92~98 percentiles). Just know your kids' head circumference and choose the right product (Kidsbanz or Babybanz). The specs are not too dark, comfortable sponge bands, length adjustable, softer material around the nose rest, Seems durable Looks smart I would recommend.

slips down and touches eyelashes
It is pretty but it did not fit at all. I tried from 12 till 19 months many times. Although it seems right size, it slips down from the back of the head. Only the ears hold the glasses for a while. May be it is the shape of my daughter. Another problem is it touches her eyelashes because you need to tighten the straps to make them hold it and it disturbs her. So it was not worn at all. Fun for taking photos etc but not practical.

Fab for babies
I bought these for my 3month old's 1st ski trip. He took to them instantly, never moaned at all. The velcro on the side allows you to alter the tightness around the head. He always seemed very content in them. If I could change anything, I think a bit of padding on the nose rest would be good but, that said, it never made any marks on his nose and didn't really bother him.

excellent quality. A bit large on my two year ...
Delivered quickly, excellent quality. A bit large on my two year old twins's face, but still very nice and stylish. Bought 3, 2 for my twins and 1 as a gift for my nephew, they were trilled with the gift. I would highly recommend this product, as the lenses are UV protected which is very important. A must have for people who want to protect their children's eyes from sunlight when they're out and about.
