The bed is sturdy and strong, made from MDF boards, and joined with heavy-duty steel hardware. Panels are raised above the mattress on all sides, providing security and making it easy for a child to make the bed. Wide, rounded steps are built-in, allowing children to safely climb into and out of bed. Below the bed, there’s a pull-out desk on wheels, with a roomy top surface for games, crafts, homework and computer time.
