I always wondered how my Grandpa kept his tools from rusting in the well house and what the particular well house smell was - it was camphor tablets! All you do is cut an X in the plastic wrapper of one of the tablets and put it in your tool box, it will slowly evaporate and coat your tools in a microscopic layer of oil to keep them from rusting. I actually learned that on a YT video this older man posted about taking care of your tools. This is something I love teaching people about and the camphor smell is so nostalgic!

I am new to using camphor. I'm trying to resolve a mold condition in a old apartment and natural camphor came up in my search. I read a few websites and a few reviews and discovered that I should be looking for a product made in INDIA and this was the first brand that came up. Before I got this one though, I tried another brand that as supposed to have been made in India and before that, one made in another country that makes everything. This brand is far superior in aroma alone. I see that they are smaller than the ones I had before, but they also smell so much richer. I know quality when I have it. I use mine in cool air aroma diffuser and can get 4 of the tabs into it at once. They last for days and smell strong the entire time. I am very pleased and I may try other brands as I learn more about how to use camphor, but will always have these on hand when I do.
