The weld broke and it cut my hand in two places. I was using it exactly as I should - slicing an apple and the weld completely broke. I was very lucky it did not go deeper and require stitches. I have emailed the company 3 times to at least get my money back or a replacement - there is a 5 year warranty and there has been no response.
