It actually worked
Said it would fit my 2017 f150 and when I got it it didn't look the same as what came off. Put it on just until i could order another to hold my mirror and dang it works perfect. I was surprised. Been on a few months now and no issues!

BUY THE FORD OEM MOTOR!!!
BUY THE FORD OEM MOTOR ASSEMBLY!!! THIS ONE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! This motor assembly has several issues. First, the housing, as mentioned in other reviews, is not properly formed, leaving gaps where the screws mount the assembly to the mirror. When the screws are tightened down, it flexes the housing, which binds up the mirror motors. I added washers in the gaps to fix the issue, which worked, but then exposed the problem that the motors are very poor quality and are jumpy and noisy. The cup assembly, which is supposed to help the mirror move smoothly does not fit properly, causing the mirror to wobble when you hit bumps. The wide 4 pin connector slot also does not hold the factory wiring harness properly in place causing intermittent operation. I returned the motor assembly and bought a Ford OEM motor assembly which fits and works perfectly.

It works, but requires some minor hardware to correct the design flaw.
I installed it properly with enough torque to secure it. The motor made noise, but did not work. I loosened the screws to where the unit was not secure and the motor worked. I noticed that when I tighten the screws, the unit warps as the gap between plastic halves is closed. I inserted stainless steel washers in that gaps (see photo) that were just the right size to fit in the mounting brackets and tightened them down securely. The motor then worked. You have to wonder if these Chinese sellers ever try the product they are selling? I can see why this would get a low rating, but I happened to have the perfect size washers to keep the unit from compressing the motor. It works fine after the fix, including being more quiet. I just hope it lasts. Maybe 4 stars is too much?

Not great but works
I am a fan of Dorman, but this motor is sub-standard. As soon as i tightened it in the housing it stopped working. I had to shim the two halfs of the case to make it work. Also it is very floppy and not at tight as the original. I have it in and it works, but probably going to order an OEM one.

Super cheap, don't waste your money.
Bought 1. It shook so bad the mirror was unusable. There's too much slop/play in the 4 corner "ball" adjusters, and the mirror wobbles like mad. Returned it in exchange for another. The second one was even worse. The body was coming apart when I opened the box. Snapped it back together, installed it. Mirror did not move. Removed it, plugged it in and tested it, works fine. Re-installed it, nothing. The body is warped or something to the point that when you mount it, the tension from mounting it prevents it from working. Just stupid cheap and garbage. Don't waste your time or money.

Great Product But One Flaw
I installed this on my 2008 Acura TL. The part fit snug and looks identical to the factory one. However, when I first tried moving the mirror after installing it, nothing moved or made any noise. I played around with it for a bit and ended up loosening all the screws that hold the actuator in the mirror housing. This solved the problem and everything worked as supposed too after that. Weird flaw but so far the mirror is still working normally. Another thing is the actuator is really noisy compared to the factory one when adjusting the mirror. Other than those things, Iโm happy with the product and price.
