The cable could be a bit longer, I suppose, but that comes at the expense of bulk and weight, so I'm happy with how it's designed. Although rated well beyond what needed I was concerned about anything snapping so used a snatch block which enabled me to stand off to the side whit used the winch. I fixed some orange ribbon round the cable so didn’t over fill the spool which I suspect is the big mistake to be made thinking more to go. Good value for money well made and solid if a little heavy out of need given the 5 ton rating.
