One of the best purchases I have ever made. I struggled to find a timer that would satisfy all of my needs and this one does. It has so many functionality options that it's difficult for it to not fit your needs. The price is very affordable. I love the look of it and the colors are very visible. The noise is very loud, but I often opt for the mute option as a student and it's great for taking it with you to the library to study as another person mentioned here. I do not use the magnet but it is strong. Lastly, it was very simple and easy to use. The instructions are not complicated at all.

I am a certified timer freak. My watch and phone, etc. have timers but in many situations I like to have a dedicated device that's just doing the timing. These are my new favorite timers and I have quite a collection. I actually purchased this timer because it had the stopwatch (counting up) function. But I tried the timer function and was delighted that the volume is a bit louder than any timers I've been able to find in recent years. I usually use timers in a chaotic kitchen situation and many of today's timers just don't cut it. You can't hear them over the din. The counting up / stopwatch function also works well. I use it to time my workouts so I don't have to click back and forth through other data on my devices to know how far along I am in the workout. I didn't try the alarm function. The timers come with directions that are clear enough to figure out the functions that I will use. The timers did not come with a battery, which wasn't a problem for me. They take AAA. The display numbers are about 3/4 of an inch and are easy to read. The timers seem sturdy enough to last a while. They're a little bigger and more solid feeling than any timers I've purchased in recent years. And the price is great. So glad I ordered two.

These work good. The numbers are a good size, easy to read. They magnet strength is actually STRONG enough to hold the timer!! YAY!! I have tried several timers and had to send them back because the magnets were crappy! The sound is plenty loud. It's nice that you can turn the alarm sound loud or normal. I don't like that the display stays on all the time and you can't turn the display off unless you take the batteries out. The kickstand on the back is a nice feature and easy to use. Overall these are Great timers. I would definitely recommend them.

This product does the basic job well enough. Being able to switch between a visible (flashing light) and audible alarm when time’s up is a nice feature. However, one other feature is not so nice as far as I’m concerned. Along with the sound/no sound switch, there is an on/off switch. What is not obvious is the on/off switch also resets the clock, and that’s not great in my opinion. The two switches aren’t that well-marked, either, and I’ve mixed them up accidentally. If you only use one mode of this device, or don’t care whether the clock is right or not, this should do fine, but I can’t give it an enthusiastic review.

I put this timer on my refrigerator where I can see it no matter where I am in the kitchen. Yesterday I was all the way across the kitchen working with my food processor making some hummus and I needed to time how long I pressed the pulse button. So I set it for one minute, walked back across the carpet and started pulsing. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a light blinking! That was the silent alarm. I then changed it to the regular alarm and that was loud enough to hear and got my attention. I've never seen another timer with a silent alarm but I bet it has lots of applications. Like if you don't want to wake your sleeping babies or kitten. Or if you are cooking late into the night and don't want anyone to wake up. Anyways, it is interesting. While this timer is super simple to use, it also has a regular battery. So instead of needing to keep buying new timers, you can just replace the battery easily. I'm impressed with this timer and would get it again. It really sticks to the refrigerator well with the magnets. ~The Rebecca Review

The first of these timers I received was, in hindsight, clearly returned merchandise: the box was beat up, there was no warranty card, and the clear plastic film over the screen and the battery were missing. What rendered it unusable, though, was that parts of the display were blank, making it impossible to read two of the numbers. After wasting far too much time (pun noted) futilely trying to set the time, the alarm, and the countdown timer, I gave up and returned the unit for a replacement. When I received my second unit, I realized that my first one had been defective merchandise that had been returned by another customer and never should have been resold. My replacement unit seemed fine and I repeated the process of setting the time, alarm, and countdown timer on it. The next morning, however, my wake-up alarm failed to sound even though it was turned on and set properly: no sound, no vibration, nothing. I tested the countdown timer and encountered the same silence and stillness. Those were the two functions I had bought this to perform, but despite repeatedly going back to the manual and following its directions carefully, I still couldn't get a peep out of the thing. Two duds in a row, NOT GOOD.

I love this digital kitchen timer! Easy to use, with a simple on/off button on the back. The display is large and it is super loud so you can hear it from other rooms in the house - perfect for timing children’s tablet usage etc. it has a strong magnet on the back that sticks to the fridge.
