I have to take iron supplements for my anemia and it's not covered through insurance anymore as the OTC is exactly the same as the prescription. I was buying the Nature's Made for some time until I came across these that were more quantity for less money.

This ferrous sulfate supplement has been effective in increasing my iron levels. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. To improve absorption, I take it with vitamin C and on an empty stomach, as recommended by experts. I haven’t experienced major digestive issues, though it can sometimes cause mild stomach discomfort if not taken properly. Overall, it’s an affordable and effective option for those needing an iron boost.

Gets the job done. The mg my doctor wants me to take. Makes me feel better. Definitely need food with it to avoid nausea

Great supplement if Dr reccomends or over 60(?) Gentle on the stomach.

I took this for 3 months straight to prep and remain consistent throughout my BBL procedure. I am a vegetarian so I was always low on iron. I took this twice a day, one in the morning and one at night- about every 12 hours for 3 months straight (2 months before and a month after surgery). I never felt tired or weak while taking this and normally I do because I am iron deficient due to being a vegetarian. Taking two flights of stairs would wear me out, but I could easily keep going after taking this for a few weeks. I had to take this after eating A LOT of bread because it made me go, I know most get constipated with iron, but I am the complete opposite. I ate 3-5 slices of any bread (loafs, croissants, biscuits, hotdog buns, you name it) along with any meal and waited for at least 30 minutes before taking this. It was a bit much, but paid off because I know a lot of people need blood transfusions after lipo since there is significant blood loss. I had 10 blood transfusions 2 years prior to my BBL but I was perfectly healthy without one after taking this iron for my BBL procedure. I must also say it is the reason I passed my physical to be approved for the surgery as my hemoglobin had to be over 12 and it’s normally 7-9 before taking this supplement (I only go to board certified U.S. docs, not sure what’s required elsewhere). If this cannot convince you that this is a great supplement, I do not know what will. Remember, it takes about 90 days before you get the full benefits of taking any supplement. However, improvement happens gradually and week by week, you will absolutely notice an upswing. Please take care of your health, people!!!

The iron tablets are easy to swallow. No terrible after taste. Easy on your tummy.
