Love it....Works perfectly with my Dell Inspiron 1545...Yes, its very old, still works very good, and is all that I need. The adapters are near impossible to find in stores and am so glad that they can be still be had here on Amazon. My old adapter just took a notion to stop working suddenly and I was desperate to find a new one..Though others that claim to fit it, they have the round tip on them where this laptop has the octagon shaped port..Not only is it a perfect fit but its even cheaper than most adapters...Couldn't be happier..Thanks Amazon...

Works great for my model laptop as stated in the advertisement unlike the adapter and power cord I received from C.W.K. Great job REO, wondering if you have adapter and power cord for 15 n235nr. Another company sent me a power cord and adapter that did not have enough power for the model listed then had the nerve to request I pay S&H for (their error) the correct power cord and adapter

The products octagon shape is a must for the older Dell series. The cord works fine in my Dell Inspiron 1545. It's NOT as tight a fit as the old original one, (that stopped working) but works great. So what is the bottom line, get this but remember if you brush by it or your cat grabs it, it may fall out whereas the original one wouldn't. It's in no way a deal breaker, and it works fine and is not expensive. I recommend it for the Dell Inspiron 1545.

Has octogon tip instead of round like the OEM part. This is one solution for those who have a charger that works, just will not charge the battery.
