This is a great little device! I’m spending the summer in my RV. I needed wi-fi to watch tv and use my phone. I got a device from Verizon and bought the unlimited package. Soon found out that their definition of unlimited is different from mine. I have to have 5G to operate my TV. Apparently I only get 5G until so many gigs, then it changes to 4G for the rest of the month and the tv show runs a few seconds then spins for a minute, then runs a few seconds etc. etc. I tried to get a bigger pkg but they said I had the biggest! So I started looking for an alternative. I found this little Roam Wi-Fi Pro and it promised what I was looking for. It even works overseas (you might have to buy a SIM card). It works immediately with 10 gigs of free data. Then you have to buy extra data. The data comes in different size pkgs. at different prices. The only drawback (and why I only gave it 4 stars) is that the data pkg is only good for a limited time I.e. 15, 30, or 90 days. After that you have to buy more data even if you didn’t use all you already bought BUT you can add more data even if your current pkg has remaining data but is out of time. There are several different data pkgs down to one day or up to 500 gigs for 90 days. And the new data starts as soon as the old time or data runs out, even in the middle of a show, without you even knowing it! So your show runs continuously. So it’s hard to tell what the monthly cost is. It just depends on how much TV you watch. But you can probably cancel your wi-fi pkg at home with your provider; and if you’re just using it for your summer vacation , you don’t have to pay for it the rest of the year. So, for me, I can cancel my $70 portion of my Verizon bill and probably my wi-fi service with Cox when I get home to VA. So add it up and see if you’ll be paying less per month or about the same or possibly a little more. Either way, you have more flexibility and can adjust your monthly payments as you see fit. I’m very pleased!

Bigger than what I expected

Excellent connection. Using for class while other classmates struggle to get connected with school wifi which is extremely slow.
