Ribena Blackcurrant Juice 850ml (1 Pack)

Very good. Very sweet. I mixed it with sparkling water to tone down the sweeteness.

Deliciously sweet without the cloying artificial nastiness in other "fruit-flavored" syrups. The black currant flavor is a winner at our house whether it's teas, candy, or chambord. This was a welcome addition, and just a tiny drizzle in sparkling water on ice is a treat, a jackson-pollock-sized splash over ice cream is heaven. I even sneak a dab into rice crispies and milk in the a.m. sometimes. Can't wait to get more, stays great in the fridge without losing the summer-fresh-picked flavor. Great stuff.

This really tastes good and if money is not an issue, the antioxidants contained in Black Currents make this a tasty and healthy drink. I haven't been able to find a black current drink that's made in USA. The Ribena is made in England, I believe, which adds to the cost. I've switched to Blueberry concentrate which is much cheaper and has many of the same health benefits.

First tried this in Ireland where they seem to serve it at every pub. I made the mistake with my first bottle of drinking it on ice---wow--too strong! LOL, then I rad the bottle and it says to mix 1 to 4 parts water. (vodka works well too) This is fantastic treat, and worth the high sticker price once you realize its a concentrate.

Not the syrup I was expecting but does dilute 1 to 4 ratio per bottle instructions.

I discovered this juice when I was visiting London. I wanted to continue drinking it when I got back to the states because of it's amazing flavor, how well it supports soft tissue recovery after exercise, how it keeps your energy up between meals and for it's overall gastro health benefits. Ribena blackcurrent juice earns ii's place in the super food realm hands down. I wish it could be found on the grocery store shelves here in the USA. Until that happens I will continue to order it through AMAZON.

I grew up in Australia (now live in the US). I loved blackcurrent syrup growing up. So i decided to try this British version. If you are used to the Australian version that is concentrated, then you are going to be a little disappointed. This needs to be mixed half and half with water to make it sweet enough. It was kind of exspensive for what you get. This bottle made about 5-6 glasses. If you like black current cordial, then its got a good taste. I gave it 4 stars due to the weakness and the flavor wasn't quite as strong as the Australian Ribena version.

I thought it was a concentrate without sugar... hope they make one with half that sugar
