Bosch Charger AL 1830 CV (18 Volt System, in carton packaging)

Brilliant charger mine packed in got this was spot of batteries are still charging now

We bought this after buying a Bosch BCS111GB Unlimited Cordless Vacuum Cleaner from Amazon. That is proving to be a truly wonderful cleaner. This charger and a spare battery were bought as this will charge the battery in around an hour. It works perfectly and is a worthwhile addition to the cleaner. The cleaner itself does charge its battery perfectly well on the wall attachment, but this takes a few hours to reach full charge. Generally, that is all we need, but occasionally, this comes in very useful.

After years of reliable service the battery on my Bosch drill had to be changed. I bought two "replacement" batteries, only to find the design had changed and they would not fit the original charger. I had to buy this new charger for them. That made a relatively cheap purchase into an expensive one. Having said that, the charger works well, as would be expected.

Fast charging and Compact item

In the good old days the Bosch domestic battery tools weren't called "home and garden". Maybe it was just 18v. With the change to the newer name, they have released slightly different batteries. The new batteries don't have the external contacts, like the older ones do, so they won't charge on my original chargers (I had a couple, having bought things that each came with one). The new charger is the next size up to the AL 1810, and charges faster, according to my research. Well it fits both the new and the old batteries, using the same contacts that ultimately the power tools use. So it's all good so far.. 4 months in it's still holding up well, but I can't really put out a judgment on the long term.

I looked at this on the official Bosch website to go with my Aqua 7 vacuum/ mop. It was four times on the Bosch official website. This is great value with 75% off by comparison.

Good battery for job

Ottimo caricabatterie Bosch sinonimo di qualita', puo' ricaricare tutte le batterie power 4all. Impiega circa 30 minuti per ricaricare batteria da 3 ampere. Queste ricariche cosi' veloci sinceramente non le apprezzo molto perche' penso che a lungo andare possono pregiudicare la durata della stessa. Infatti spesso per ricaricare le batterie utilizzo il caricabatterie dell'aspirapolvere senza fili che impiega per la ricarica completa circa 5 ore.
