Soak ST05-6 Minisoak Travel Pack-Scentless

Great product that worked very well for hand washing in hotel sinks. Although they say you don’t need to rinse, I still did, but it is so much easier to rinse out than other laundry products! So glad that they offer an unscented version for those of us that are sensitive to fragrances. The packets are easy to travel with; the only drawbacks are the high cost and packaging waste.

SOAK wool wash is easy to use to wash woolen goods without breaking down their natural oils. All it takes is a quick soak, no rinse required, then dry flat. Having used some of Soak’s scented wash packets to prepare winter woolens for storage, I was pleased to find this unscented travel pack to cleanse my summer weight wool shirts and leggings. I tent camp and do not wish to attract raccoons, bears, or wolves to my lair!

I purchased this for a two-week trip. I brought three sets of undergarments with me and figured I would wash a set each night. That way I'd always have at least one clean and dry set. Every night I'd wash socks, undershirt and underwear using this detergent in the hotel sink and hang dry over night. From washing, soaking to hanging up, I'd say it was 20-minutes per night. This product worked really well at getting my clothes clean. On vacation, one tends to walk a lot and my clothes always felt and (perhaps more importantly) smelled fresh even after long sweaty days. Be sure to get a clothesline or something else to hang your clothes to dry. Also, I tried to pack clothes that wouldn't hold onto odor, (wool socks) and would dry quickly, (synthetic fabrics). I don't have particularly sensitive skin but I was worried about not rinsing clothes after letting them soak in this detergent--it's advertisied as a no-rinse detergent. I tried it out for a couple of days before going on vacation and found that any remnants of the detergent left on the clothes didn't really bother my skin but obviously other people might have different results. I'd say run some test before relying on this detergent 100%. I'm really glad I came upon this product. I can't imagine traveling for any long period of time without using something like this to get my packing as light as possible. Highly recommended.

This worked very well for washing underwear in a sink during a trip to Europe.

My old standby handwashing liquid added a scent that I am allergic to, so I have had to hunt for something new. When I got the detergent, I tested it washing a pair of elastic ankle braces and an old t-shirt that had a dried blood spot on it. I am happy to say that I detected no smell at all when I opened the packet. When the ankle braces dried, there was no trace of the sweaty odor that had been on them. The t-shirt wasn't really a fair test because the spot had had a few days to dry, but I thought I would see what this detergent would do. It got some of the stain out the middle but left the edges, and I thought that was decent. When we travel, I am really looking to get odors and body oil out, not intense stains. I liked this enough to buy more.

These are very easy to use and your clothes smell great. I use these while traveling in India for washing my work clothes. My work clothes are pretty delicate and I didn't trust them to go out with the hotel laundry so I threw my clothes in the hotel sink with this packet and let it soak. My clothes came out smelling great and clean. These are my must-have while traveling now.

I took these on my trip to Italy and had very little luggage space. I was staying at B&B’s across the country and these were a godsend. They take a little space in your luggage and they are perfect for rinsing out small items and stains when you don’t have access to a laundry. Highly highly recommend.

Washed the clothes ok during a backpacking trip however I didn't like the fact it was scentless. I guess that is a personal preference but if I was to repurchase, I would like a lightly scented version so the clothes would feel more like they were freshly washed.
