Never any problem with these discs and excellent value and most reliable.

Write very well - no quality issues. Printing on an Epson XP-960 produces great results

Cant go wrong with Verbatim, These are a great disc and you don`t get any coasters. Printable area is large too, And takes a print very nicely..

These are the only CD-R discs that I trust. I have generally only had a good experience with these discs (only on the very rare occasion have I experienced a problem when burning and never it seems when it comes to playing). I even don't trust the 50 pack set of what seems to be the same discs as for some reason I have had problems with a far greater proportion of those discs comparatively. These discs have a distinctive coloration (dye?). In the past I have noted (at least in my mind) that the more distinctive (or dark) the coloration the better the quality. I also wouldn't use printable discs unless there is a particular requirement to do so. Again, it may just be in my mind, but in the past I had a disc drive that was slowly damaged by the printable coating on the discs.

I normally go for verbatim, get very few failures when burning on my external dvd writer

These are now my go-to discs, having previously cycled through Memorex (also good, but harder to get hold of), Sony, and a few others. I'd noticed that especially with the Sony discs I've just moved away from, I began to have reading problems on occasion even without noticeable damage to the disc; I mainly use CD-Rs for audio, and I would find that seeking took longer, or even some discs would stop for a second or two mid-song. The Verbatim AZO discs are a strong showing though. The dye is wonderfully vibrant, and produces excellent contrast after burning. Reading is speedy, and playback is flawless. It may be a trick of my mind, but I could swear that seeking is faster with these too. Dye consistency seems fairly even towards the edge. There is a little spreading on certain discs, but this hasn't affected my recording at all. I expect the density is low enough to cause many problems.

I always use Verbatim discs for making CD's for the car. Unfortunately half the discs in this pack resulted in coasters. Really unusual for Verbatim.

Man mag sich darüber streiten können, ob CD-R's lieber in der Spindel oder doch eher in Slim- oder Jewel-Cases gekauft werden sollten. Für die Qualität eines Rohlings ist seine Aufbewahrung oder seine Verpackung aber gänzlich uninteressant. Tatsache ist, daß der "Crystal"-Rohling von Verbatim der robusteste Rohling auf dem Mark ist. Obendrein ist man mit 17.-EURO für 50-CD-R's im Low-Budget Segment angelangt und bekommt für den Preis auf dem gesamten Markt definitiv nichts besseres. Verbatim setzt bei vielen Rohlingen (wie auch bei diesem) auf einen Azur-Dye (blau), der zwar Qualitativ keinen Vergleich zu Phtalocyanin (gold-grün) scheuen braucht, aber zu Unrecht bei den meisten Leuten nicht so beliebt ist. Wobei ich denke, daß dieses Phämonem eher psychischer Natur ist. Sieht die goldgrün schimmernde Schicht von Phtalocyanin doch auf jeden Fall den Orginial-Silberlingen wesentlich ähnlicher, so vertraut man denen dann auch gleich mehr, als Rosa, Grün oder Blau ghefärbten Schreibschichten. Zur Öberfläche des Rohlings: Sie ist fantastisch um es mit einem Wort zu sagen. Verbatim ist meiner Kenntnis her der Einzige bekannte Hersteller, der die Oberfläche der Rohlinge mit Plastik versiegelt, sodass selbst der Schlag mit einem Schlüssel, Schraubenzieher oder ähnlich Spitzen Gegenständen direkt auf die Oberfläche nicht gescheut werden muss. Wer hat nicht schonmal miterlebt, wie er seine Heißgeliebten Daten zu sichern versucht und dann plötzlich mit Ansehen musste, wie sich die Scheibe almmählich ihres Silbergewandes endlegigte und einfach ablätterte!? Das ist mit diesem Teil absolut vorbei! Was angesichts der sonst so stabilen Crystal-Oberfläche nicht ganz einleuchten will ist der Umstand, daß sie unheimlich empfindlich auf "Zug" reagiert. Einige unter Euch werden mit Sicherheit ihre CD's Labeln, was dank der unbeschrifteten Oberfläche problemlos machbar ist... allerdings solltet ihr vorher 3 mal überprüfen ob das Label auch das richtig ist, vertut ihr euch nämlich und versucht es später wieder abzuziehen, so kommt es leicht vor, daß an der Klebefolie auch gleich die ganze Schreibschicht des Rohlings klebt. Ein Umstand, der mir bis jetzt nur bei diesen Rohlingen vorgekommen ist. Fazit: Trotz des kleinen Mängels an der Oberfläche ist der Crystal-Rohling von Verbatim der momentan im Preis-Leistungs verhältnis der beste und stabilste Rohling den es zu kaufen gibt. Empfehlung: Für die, die gerne Hüllen und keine Spindel haben wollen: Es gibt den Crystal auch im 20er Pack mit Jewel-Cases. Für alle anderen KAUFEN!!!

C’est la première fois que je suis déçu par les cd verbatim le paquet contenait 50 CD J’en ai déjà jeté 8 à la poubelle certains avaient un défaut à mon avis je suis vraiment vraiment mal tombé car cette marque est vraiment très fiable d’habitude

Utilisateur depuis toujours des Verbatim, le spindle est absolument parfait et conforme....j'ai déjà utilisé quelques CD et ....aucun problème....comme ceux qu'on trouve partout ....mais pas au même prix !!! les 25 ne sont même pas au prix d'un pack de 10 !! Je recommande à ceux qui veulent des produits fiables. ....et je commanderai à nouveau cet article dans le futur proche Aucun pb de livraison en colis bien emballé ( avec un spindle de DVD également Verbatim !!)
