You can barely hear it turning. The basket holding the litter droppings is very easy to maintain and change out the litter bags. The other box I was constantly pinching my fingers when I was trying to put in the plastic bag for collection. This one just slips over and then you slide it back underneath the unit. This also has a decent little storage spot for the bags. It also automatically deodorizes which was a nice feature. I think it would be great for multi cats. This item was just so easy to use.
