Great quality, great price!
Exactly what I needed. I am an avid crocheter for many years, but I wanted to teach myself to knit. So I got this little kit for 18 bucks, and it was worth every penny. I got 4 small skeins of nice quality yarn, a set of bamboo knitting needles, a set of polished metal knitting needles, special safety scissors, a needle gauge, several plastic yarn needles and a really nice little instruction and pattern booklet in English that has full, step by step, pictorial instructions. It would actually be a really nice gift for someone looking to learn knitting. Very pleased with this.

Taught myself how to knit with this kit.
Taught myself to knit using this kit along with watching a few youtu.be videos. Although the instructions and pictures were excellent, I just couldn't quite grasp some things without watching it being done in a video. Then things clicked and the written instructions made more sense to me.

Great for beginners
I got this set so I could relearn how to make a washcloth, the instructions were all that great. They were but confusing to me and so I had to watch YouTube videos. The yarn was of good quality and the colors weren’t my favorite. These was easy to learn with.

Not really a knitting kit for a beginner. better off going to a yarn store!
As a beginner at knitting, it did not meet my expectations. I found the yarn too thin while you are knitting., This makes it difficult to manage. Also the two sets of knitting needles are 5mm, which are too narrow for a beginner. Probably suitable for someone with more experience. Did not find the instructions useful.

Well worth the money!
Great value for money and perfect for beginners at knitting. The wool is decent quality and it comes with a very easy to follow instruction book, a ruler and even a little pair of snippets to cut the wool.
