Photos show the results before and then after 4 weeks (first photo is after scarifying). I used the A1 pre seed fertiliser alongside the growsure aquagel "smart grass" seeds. Scarified the lawn to begin with and then punched holes in the turf using a garden rake, used a spreader for the seed and then the A1 fertiliser. Watered regularly, at least once a day and this is the result so far. I plan to use the A1 autumn/winter fertiliser (already purchased) alongside the same seed for further overseeding. Very pleased with the results. I should also mention I used weed killer (weedol) one week prior to scarifying to kill all the weeds without destroying the pre-existing lawn.

It's been only 2 weeks since I put down starter fert on the lawn after scarification and core aeration, then followed with overseeding, top dressing one week after as per instructions. Just in one week, the lawn is thriving. Never tried A1 products before but so happy with the results so far! 10 kg is plenty for couple seasons, can be used as regular fert is a plus. Recommended!

I bought some A1 Grass seed and some Pre-seed fertiliser to re-seed my lawns both back and front. I'm not a gardener by any means but I keep it tidy and try to look after it. My lawns were looking very sad and uncared for. Brown and patchy, even diseased in some places I thought. I do mow and water but never feed. them and really did consider getting one the companies that look after your lawn for you but discarded this idea when I saw the monthly expense. I tried A1's products (Seed and Pre-seed fertiliser) and I'm so glad I did. It did take a bit of work by scarifying then spaying for disease, then after a day or two spent time aerating with a garden fork. I then spread the seed and spread the pre-seed fertiliser, watered it all in with a sprinkler and crossed my fingers. My lawns are now green and lush, friends and neighbours are now saying how well it looks and one person said " It's like walking on a shag pile carpet!" A1 Grass seed and A1 Pre-seed fertiliser. Brilliant... I would also like to mention A1 customer service too because now that everything on my lawns look superb, I wanted some Autumn and winter fertiliser to look after it over winter but could not find it on their web site so I contacted them. I had an answer the same day explaining it will be available in September/October because that's when I should put it down. I'm not green with envy now when I see other peoples lovely lush lawns, and wonder how they do it. I'm now green too with delight.

Where to start. I used this to give a boost to an already aerated and scarified lawn and a few days before overseeing. It has made such a massive difference to our small garden, barely touched the bag at all. Reckon there’s enough to do it 100 times over. Will be using again and will be venturing off the get some of their grass seed too (the stuff I bought was cheap and didn’t really germinate that well so will chat to the A1 team)
