I find this a very helpful product for some of my digestive symptoms. I am so impressed with how well this works. Only thing to note is that the taste is chalky and strong so it's better to have it in water or fruit juice. I will purchase this again for sure - thank you

This product is pricey but it works well and does not darken the stool.

The product is useful, but doesn’t resolve the problem; just makes it a bit better. Something if off about the formula, used to taste differently and work better

I wanted this to work. We ibs suffers are desperate like that. I am fortunate in that I have not, yet, suffered through many years of ineffective doctor's care as so many ibs sufferers have. I know people who have suffered for over ten years, still half convincing themselves their doctors are doing some, albeit immeasurable, good. I convinced myself premature initial indications proved it worked and ordered $100 worth of product from sellers here and on ebay. One big problem is that I live in America and it takes over a month to get it from the uk. I have used this long enough now to know it doesn't work, at least not for me.

Undisolved powder in liquid, is this normal or bad. Almost impossible to swallow.Maby it got overheated during shipping.

I have use Silicolgel for many years, if I remember right at least since 1997. Silicolgel have always work great for me and I'm very happy with the product, must say I have notice it help when one is constipated as well as diarrhoea. I always have 1-2 bottles at home in my cupboard and an open one in the friedge.

I've suffered with acute IBS for years, to the point that I've been referred to specialists on more than one occasion, who have believed I had IBD my symptoms were so bad. Nothing, so far, has helped, and I can spend days living just outside the bathroom door, creased up in pain, unable to do anything. Initially I was recommended SilicolGel by a friend who'd seen an article about it in one of her magazines, but it was a long time before I decided to actually try it myself. Yes, the taste is foul (like trying to consume a sandy liquid concrete is the only way I can explain it), but I have found I only need to take it when I have having a really bad flare, with one dose setting me straight for many weeks, if not months. However my sister, who also suffers from IBS, tried SilicolGel and found it actually made her symptoms worse. Like all 'alternative' medicines what cures one does not necessarily cure all. If you've tried everything else, just get a small bottle and give it a go - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Read an advert on how good it was as I have had an upset digestion sin heart op 18 months ago. tastes like Milk of Magnesia so not pleasant. Very gooey liquid. Still no result after 200 grammes of the stuff. No side effects either though. May try a bigger bottle.

I’m not sure if it works or not. I do feel better but I took other meds as well. Didn’t take very much of this because it is so disgusting to take like swallowing dissolved chalk. Why they don’t put a flavour over it to make it less disgusting I don’t know coz I think that might help. At first it seams flourless but then you get hit with this cross chalkiness like you stuck your mouth into a bag of wall paper paste. I’ve always hated powder dissolved in water tho, others may not mind it so much.

As a sufferer of ibsd, I find this gel a god send. Helps calm my overactive bowel. I even purchased the sachets to take on the go and it gives me confidence to carry on my life in an anxious free way. The consistency is quite gloopy but has absolutely no taste. I take a glass of water after it and all's good,not to bad really.
