Does this work for yellow underarm stains on white shirts?

I wore a suit every day for years. Switched decades ago to Ban roll on... never stained a shirt on me... ever! For your situation, follow some of the ideas folks answered you with already. The bluing does make your whites extra white though. And there's no critters in it either!

My clothes got turned blue/grayish after washing. Will this help?

No. If anything this will make them more blue. It's meant to be used with white laundry that has yellowed from time and/or heat. The blue element helps neutralize the yellowish color in the fabric to make it look whiter.

Something turned my white towels and the white parts of other towels blue. Will this help?

Bluing is not a stain remover. I simply makes whites whiter. However, if you use too much or apply directly to cloth it will turn it blue. It must be diluted.
