Works really and makes it more immersive. Very easy to setup. colours not always perfect, but for price it's amazing.

Fantastic TV lighting, a little tricky to install but take your time and make sure to wipe surface with cleaning alcohol before attaching pads, apart from that the set up is excellent, especially once you’ve got the lighting hue just right using the app (some great help on YouTube for this) as a added bonus, Govee lighting works with my Alexa voice commands, brilliant!

Great value and excellent quality. Calibration was a little fiddly, I found the app didn’t 100% track the orange squares placed on the screen for tracking which makes me wonder if my setup is a bit off. Sometimes colours don’t feel 100% accurate but I don’t think you’ll get much better unless you have a far more expensive HDMI setup tbh. When it works though, absolutely incredible. Bright and vibrant colours. The quality of the LED strips themselves are top notch. Looking forward to adding more dreamview lights around the living room to extend the effect.

Great piece of kit. Easy to install and configure to the TV. Everything is controlled from the app so accessibility is spot on as with most smart stuff nowadays. Came configured and worked out the box but still configured it anyways just to make sure it works as it should. Connects to the WiFi easy as pie as well. Cannot complain in the slightest. Only downside is the 3m double sided tape on the led strips is a bit poor but it does come with additional 3m strip supports to stick on which is super useful.

This is an amazing product! I have a lot of govee products in my home as I rate the brand highly so purchased some TV lights and I have to say they take immersion to another level! They pair well with the ceiling light pro in dreamveiw mode and come with a variation of different modes, the app is easy to navigate and the whole set up took less than 20mins. The only thing I will say is when calibrating the camera do it in a well lit room as I found it better than what govee say about doing it in a darkend room. Overall 9/10

I've have a number of other Govee products and had been using the RBIC Light bars behind my 55" Sky Glass TV (Gen2) for a while but saw this on sale and thought it would be a decent upgrade, which it certainly is. I've got "Surround" lighting configured via Dreamview now and although the setup wasn't totally straightforward, as if you own a Sky Glass Gen 2, the camera doesn't sit flush on the TV due to it being thicker than most 'normal' tv's, with the 3M tape and a couple of goes at calibrating it, it's now working like a charm. It is now paired in a Movie Watrching Dreamview with one set of RBIC lights behind and left, another behind and right and a set of "Gaming wall lights' directly behind the sofa. The Dreamview offers an intuitive way to tell the system where each of these lights physically is and pair it to a corresponding number on a 'virtual' room within the Govee App. The whole setup works perfectly, not only for movies but when gaming too. It's superb and very reactive for the cost. I don't see how the far more expensive Pro version could offer more.

Ok so first things first , for what it is it’s very expensive , effects are not great, connectivity is really bad, app also not great bugging you constantly with adverts , I would assume if you pay so much money for something you won’t have to deal with adds, yes you can connect it to home kit through matter but sometimes it’s working sometimes not No the rest of the problems , this is the second one I have purchased and second time I am disappointed as it cost me too much time to put it on the tv I won’t be returning it but if you ask me it’s a waste of money , adhesive does not stick good in fact I had to use my own cable ties to keep in place and for that kind of money you would expect better ! Quality non existent made of cheap plastic and the driver unit fell off after few days I had use tape to keep it in place , colour range is ok but brightness I rather poor and it makes me angry and unhappy , size wise for 50 inch tv is enough to get 40 inch size I have both so I have good comparison, app is large and slow looking more of candy game than anything else, you have limited time to connect it to home kit 15 min after that you won’t be able to do it as you’ll have to reset it to factory settings for reasons unknown Does it looks good maybe but only in the dark and when it’s close to wall about 5 inches or so. I’m angry disappointed and I truly recommend to avoid this , if you tv has porous surface at the back forget about mounting it with supplied material it won’t hold you’ll have to use ties as I did it Calibrating is a joke and absolutely doesn’t change anything I used it on one tv without calibrating and there was no difference at all. Accuracy also zero , juts to be frank i use this in qled tv and led tv. I can’t post pictures of my tv as Amazon for some reason removes my reviews Conclusion is AVOID i don’t understand the craze but there’s many other brands much cheaper and better Hope this helps

Its a decent light. But its a pain to set up, requires your Location, Bluetooth, WiFi password, you have to make an account. Excessive and unnecessary for a cheap ass back light

I’ve been using the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite on my 65-inch setup for a few weeks, and it’s a massive step up from the older models, especially with the new fish-eye correction. The upgraded camera does a much better job of capturing colors right at the edges of the screen, and the addition of the dedicated "warm white" chip in the 4-in-1 beads means you get much more natural whites and pastels instead of that artificial blueish tint budget LEDs often have. Installation is a breeze with the new "gravity" mount that just hooks onto the top of the TV, though I did find that calibrating it works best if you turn on all the lights in the room so the camera can clearly see those orange foam stickers. It’s incredibly immersive for gaming and action movies—the "Blank Screen Detection" is a nice touch that saves you from having a glowing wall when you pause a show—but keep in mind it still relies on a camera, so you might see some minor color drift if you have high-gloss screen reflections or bright lamps directly opposite the TV. Overall, for the price, it delivers about 90% of the performance of a high-end HDMI sync box without the complicated wiring or compatibility headaches

Great product, easy to install and set up. Works perfect and gives great light reaction.

Does what is says on the tin, the camera does stick out. Calibration took some time and accuracy is ok but not brilliant.

J’hésitais depuis un moment à sauter le pas pour un système d'ambiance TV, et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix pour ce kit Govee. ​Le point qui m'inquiétait le plus était le montage, mais j'ai été très agréablement surpris : l'installation est d'une simplicité déconcertante. Tout est pensé pour vous faciliter la vie : ​La pose du ruban : Les bandes LED sont sectionnées pour correspondre parfaitement aux coins de la TV (plus besoin de plier le ruban au risque de l'abîmer). L’adhésif 3M tient vraiment bien, même sur le plastique texturé de mon écran. ​Le calibrage : Une fois la caméra posée sur le dessus (très stable), l’application Govee Home vous guide pas à pas. On place les petits carrés en mousse orange sur les coins de l'écran, on aligne les points sur l'appli, et c'est fini en moins de 10 minutes ! ​Plug & Play : La reconnaissance Wi-Fi et l'appairage se sont faits instantanément. ​Côté rendu, c’est une claque visuelle. Les couleurs sont vives, la réactivité est excellente et cela agrandit littéralement l'image sur le mur. Cela réduit aussi énormément la fatigue oculaire lors des sessions cinéma dans le noir.
