I was looking through the reviews before I bought this Diamond Crystal Granulated Plain Diamond Salt 25lbs bag and saw some discerning comments. Such as, too salty, and broken bags, so I wanted to report on my 25lbs bag. I know salt very well, and this salt taste just like salt is supposed to taste. Also, the heavy-duty bag it comes in was fully intact, without any sign of any damage. The heavy-duty bag, the salt is in, is more than ample for the task. A heavier bad would be tough to work with and also be an overkill. Also, the shipping box it came in was in the same unblemished condition. All in all, I feel I got a great price on a bunch of great salt with no problems what-so ever. Those other comments must be an exception to rough handling. Mine wasn't delivered by Amazon, so the carrier may be rougher than the more careful Amazon. The too salty review? Some people. You know what I mean?

Bought this big bag of Diamond Crystal salt to kill an old stump in my yard, and it worked exactly how I hoped. I drilled a few holes, poured this in, added some water, and let it do its thing. Over time the stump completely dried out and stopped trying to come back, which was the whole goal. The granules are consistent and easy to handle, and the 25 lb bag is honestly overkill unless you have multiple stumps or other uses, but I’d rather have extra than run short. Simple, effective, and way cheaper than renting equipment or using harsher chemicals, worked perfect for me.

Salt was great, delivery was terrible, it was a week later arriving but said it was at the warehouse 20 miles from me. It came with the box damaged and one bag torn.
