This knife makes an excellent gift or first knife for a youth. My husband and I have had our fair share of expensive knives, my husband especially being somewhat of a knife snob. For the price, this knife is unbeatable. It’s durable, comfortable in the hand, opens smooth and locks open, closes easily, and has multiple tools built in as far as the rope cutter, glass breaker and bottle opener. It’s a larger size which I prefer for a novice. The steel took electro etching with ease so we were able to personalize the blade for our kiddo. The blade comes sharp and is easy to hone. It sits dead center in the handle and has no noticeable bend or curve. The colors offered are great for outdoorsman or military loving kids. Pocket clip holds securely. I would use this knife myself so have no problem giving it to my kid for his first blade. At the price, it allows me to back off and let him learn responsibility on his own as I have no worries about him losing it outside since I know it’s easily replaced. The case isn’t anything special but certainly a bonus since I wouldn’t expect one to be included. Really wonderful product at an unbeatable price point.

Very compact, good weight and not huge. Blade is good quality, opens easy. The only issue is when closing it. Have to push the metal under the handle to the side so it closes. Had to look at different videos to understand how it closed.

I just received this knife and I'm happy I got it. I didn't think it would be as sharp as it is given the price, but it's really sharp. It took me a minute to figure out how to close it. I'm used to pushing in on the lever to close it. On this knife you push the lever to the left to close it.

It did everything it claimed in the description, and when I held the product in my hand, it felt like I got a good deal, price-wise. That is my standard for 5 stars. As a test, I used it to de-bone chicken thighs. Bone-in skin on thighs are $1.99/lb here. Boneless and skin off thighs are $3.99. Just arriving, the knife was sharp enough for a rookie experimenter like me.

I own alot of Different knives.. this one is A Decent Knife for the Price.. not a Great knife.. not easy to open definitely not a smooth open .. Blade seems like a decent quality

Great & sturdy knife! Blade has a solid lock when it’s open. (It won’t wiggle around) Lots of great features. You never know when you’ll need a window breaker or a seatbelt cutter. Something I keep handy.
