Contour Design Contour RollerMouse Free3 Mouse

I bought one of these years ago for my work desk. I had chronic pain and stiffness in my back, shoulders, and neck due to holding my arm out for years using a regular computer mouse. This one allows me to keep my arms and elbows next to my body and eliminates the strain on my back and neck. Its pretty expensive but its well worth it. I couldn't find another manufacturer of a similar roller mouse so I bought the same one for each computer in my house. The original one is still going strong after 5 years. I hope they last a long time!

Our unit began failing just before the warranty expired: first it stopped holding a charge, and shortly afterward it no longer worked reliably even when plugged in. We spent a few days troubleshooting before contacting Contour, and by then the warranty had expired by five days. Even though the failure began during the warranty period, Contour told us there was “nothing more we can do due to the expiration of the warranty.” We have had better luck with wired Contour models, but this experience makes it hard to recommend the wireless version. There are competing products, including wireless products by Mousetrapper, that offer comparable or better features, are easier to clean, and cost significantly less. After this experience, we will be looking at other companies going forward.

An ergonomist was the first one to recommend this at work and it kept me having serious trouble with my wrists. It takes a little while to get used to but if the mouse causes you wrist and arm pain, it’s well worth it. I bought another one for home when I started working at home after the pandemic. Love it.

Leider leide ich mittlerweile an stärkeren Schmerzen im Hand-, Arm- und Schulterbereich, wenn ich mit der Maus am Computer arbeite. Neben einer herkömmlichen Logitech MX Master Maus, hatte ich mir eine vertikale ergonomische Maus Evoluent Vertical Wireless C gekauft. Leider hat es mit dieser Maus keine Besserung gegeben, da ich den Arm immer noch bewegen musste. Die Schmerzen im Arm- und Schulterbereich blieben. Von daher habe ich diese Maus wieder zurückgeschickt. Dann habe ich die RollerMouse Free 3 Wireless (ohne Kabel) gesehen. Nach diversen Informationen im Internet habe ich dann diese bestellt. Der Preis ist schon etwas teurer als bei anderen Eingabegeräten. Die Verarbeitung empfinde ich als sehr gut. Die andere Art über eine bewegliche rollbare Stange ein Mauszeiger zu bedienen gefällt mir auch. Vieles klappt sofort, aber einige Eingewöhnungszeit sollte man in Kauf nehmen. Die Wireless-Verbindung ist bei mir sehr stabil. Man kann verschiedene DPI-Stufen ohne Probleme am Gerät nach seinen Wünschen einstellen. Den Linksklick kann man mit der drehbaren Stange durch ein Drücken oder der eigenen Taste ausführen. Die Handballenauflage ist sehr angenehm, aber ich habe mir noch eine extra Hand- und Gelenkauflage geholt. Die Tastatur wird auf die einstellbaren Halterungen gelegt. Auf die Länge der Tastatur sollte eventuell geachtet werden. Ich selber habe eine kleine Logitech K810. Es gehen aber auch größeren Tastaturen. Die Tastatur sollte so liegen, dass die Tasten G und H in der Mitte vom Scrollrad sind. Erwähnenswert sind die Copy and Past und Back and Forward Tasten. Eine gute und schnelle Erleichterung. Da ich die RollerMouse mittlerweile ein wenig in Gebrauch habe, sind meine Schmerzen wesentlich zurückgegangen. Durch die mittige Position der RollerMouse und Tastatur, ist der rechte und linke Arm nicht mehr gestreckt. Man hat die Hände und Arme nahe und vor sich. Bei Bedarf wechsel ich die Position der Hände und man hat eine andere Belastung. Meine Logitech Master MX habe ich noch zusätzlich.Wer bereit ist etwas mehr zu investieren, erhält eine interessante Alternative, die ich wärmstens empfehlen kann.

Hay que tener en cuenta que el teclado debe estar 3mm. Por encima del nivel de la barra que sirve para hacer click. Para evitar clicks involuntarios, por lo demás va como Dios.

Super achat pour tous ceux qui ont des problèmes avec des souris. Ça prend une adaptation à utiliser, mais c'est génial! Ça nous permet d'utiliser les deux mains. L'option sans fil est idéale et une recharge dure plusieurs semaines, mois.

Someone with RSI who can’t use a mouse I find this fantastic. It does everything a mouse does and allows me to use a computer when I wouldn’t be able to otherwise. Pricey but for me invaluable.
