If you suffer from dry mouth during the night, these are the perfect solution. I had tried rinses - they don't last. Sprays - they don't last. lozenges - don't last. Other tablets, only last a few hours. I can get about 8 hours relief with these. Contrary to other reviews, you do not suck on them like a lozenge...they won't last at all if you do it that way. Read the directions. They "adhere" to your back molars...don't drink or eat after putting them in...as both will either dislodge or reduce the effectiveness. However, when I don't use these, my mouth is miserable and so dry. These provide enough moisture throughout the night. The flavors aren't too bad. I've used the mint (not may favorite because I'm not a fan of mint flavor), orange and berry. I wish they had other flavors (cinnamon, licorice), but till then, I'll use these probably forever.

I rely on these nightly to combat dry mouth, and they deliver exactly what is promised. The adhesion mechanism is impressive—once placed against the gum, the disc stays securely anchored for a full 6–8 hours without shifting, allowing me to sleep without interruption. ​The profile is ideal; the discs are incredibly slim and unobtrusive, so you don't feel like you have a bulky object in your mouth while trying to fall asleep. If you are having trouble with dry mouth, especially while sleeping, this is definitely the product for you. I have severe dry mouth and have tried multiple things including hard candy (yes, I know not very smart) as well as different biotin products, the mouthwash, the spray and the gel, which all do work, but do not last for very long. These stay in place open the corner of your mouth, last for hours and truly work. I highly recommend it if you are having a dry mouth issue

The flavor of these are fantastic. I use them overnight because the mildly mint one was too intense for nighttime use. They really do lubricate your mouth and since I've been using them nightly my halitosis has improved significantly. I also haven't had a reoccurrence of tonsil stones since using these. My only complaint is that the berry smoothie flavor does not adhere to the gums as well as the other flavors. The back of them is spotted but I bought the them in the blister pack as well to see if they are any different but they are exactly the same (spots on the back of the tablet and don't stick as well).

As a CPAP user, one of the side effects is getting a dry mouth overnight. I tried these moisturizing discs to see if they worked and they did. I've been using them ever since. You can also use them if you're suffering from sinuses or a cold and have become a mouth breather. These will help keep your mouth from feeling like it's full of cotton balls.

I have to use these for about 1/2 a year. I keep bronchitis and sinusitis from about Oct. to April every since I was a child. When I am suffering with these I can't breath through my nose, epically at night while sleeping and would wake up several times a night with dry mouth so bad ir was literally painful. My mom turned me on to these because she was using the with her CPAP. I sometimes have a bit of difficulty getting them to stay put but overall they are great. I have tried the OG, cinnamon, and berry. The OG have no real taste, but you wake up with a sweet taste in your mouth. I tried the cinnamon because I love cinnamon and didn't listen to the reviews stating how strong the flavor is, big regret, it's like putting two or three fireballs in your mouth, won't be making that mistake again. The berry ones are actually best in my opinion. They have a light berry flavor that isn't overpowering, isn't quite as sweet as the OG. Whichever one you choose you won't wake up in pain. I do suggest using only one at first as opposed to the two they recommend, unless you like waking up with your head on a water logged pillow. One generally gets me through the night unless my congestion is super bad, then I will sometimes have to use a 2nd one about 1/2 way through my night when I wake up for the bathroom and realize it's already completely dissolved.

I am on a bunch of medications, all of which cause dry mouth. Mine became so bad recently whenever a few meds were increased, and the dry mouth was spreading to my throat. The sides of my mouth had been peeling everyday, it hurt to speak, and it hurt to swallow even the smallest pill, no matter how much water I drank. I tried the Biotene mouthwash, and it wasn’t very effective, especially for the throat side effects. THIS, however, is a LIFE CHANGER!! Within the first 24 hours of wearing these (so probably about three different applications), it no longer hurt to speak or swallow pills! The lining of my mouth has also stopped peeling. These attach to the sides of your molars, with the adhesive touching the molar/gum around molar and the medicated side touching your cheek. They last about two hours during the day for me personally and at least four hours at night (I wake up to pee, so I know if they’re dissolved yet or not). The adhesive does not irritate the gums or cheek lining. I do recommend alternating between applying them to your top molars and applying them to your bottom molars, so as to avoid some minor soreness. The flavor is really good. It isn’t as strong as a cough drop, but it isn’t totally flavorless either. The only downside is that you’re tempted to chew it sometimes lol. Super small and unnoticeable while you speak. Worth the money. You can’t eat while having these in. I tried. They come unglued. I recommend timing them in between meals.

used to buy these in stores... much cheaper here on Amazon.... order arrived in good time ... these really work l have a cpap machine and l wake up in the night with dry mouth ...these do last about 6 hours for me and on the odd occasion sometimes longer ... pleasant tasting l always get mint but 1st time trying berry smoothie and l like them ... l will never be without these

These do help with dry mouth.I wake up at night and need to place another one in my mouth as they seem to last only about 90 minutes.But then again I am a open mouth breather.Glad I found these and will continue to use.

Je porte une plaque oclusale pour dormir et cela assèche ma bouche et rend mon sommeil difficile. J’utilise les disques OraCoat XyliMelts depuis quelques semaines et ils ont vraiment fait une différence pour ma bouche sèche, améliorant mon sommeil. J’étais sceptique au début, mais les résultats sont là. Hydratation jusqu’à 7–8 heures : je peux enfin dormir sans me réveiller la bouche complètement sèche. Ce qui est très désagréable. Très discrets : une fois placés sur la gencive, on ne les sent presque plus. Faciles à appliquer : ils adhèrent bien et ne se décollent pas pendant le sommeil. Saveur légère de smoothie aux baies : douce et pas trop sucrée. Sans sucre et avec xylitol : meilleur pour la bouche et l’haleine. Format économique de 230 disques : dure plusieurs mois. Le disque peut sembler un peu collant les premières secondes avant qu’il se fixe mais avec de la pratique tout va bien. La saveur est légère, mais certaines personnes préféreront peut-être quelque chose de complètement neutre. Je souffre de sécheresse buccale surtout la nuit, ce qui me réveillait souvent. Avec les XyliMelts, je dors maintenant sans interruption. Le disque garde la bouche confortable et l’effet hydratant dure vraiment longtemps. Si vous avez la bouche sèche, surtout la nuit, ces disques sont vraiment efficaces. Ils sont simples à utiliser, confortables et procurent un soulagement durable. Je comprends pourquoi ils ont autant d’avis positifs.

This tablet really helps my dry mouth problem like a charm. Works for hours.

As someone with Sjogren's, these are great. I pop one in my mouth at bedtime. I usually adhere it to the roof of my mouth. I tend to wake around 3am when I will pop in another one to get me til morning.
