Definitely excellent delivery time - expected delivery date was Jan 18th and it arrived on the 4th! I bought this for my Mum as she has never seen it and this is a good price (3 pounds) for the first 8 episodes.

Series 3 of Will & Grace sees fresh comedy antics from the true stars of the show, Jack & Karen. The season opener contains one of the most memorable scenes of the series – Jack teaching Grace the dance steps to Britney Spear’s, “Oops! I did it again”. Once again, Karen steals the show and as episode 4 proves, there can only be one Karen, no cheap imitations – Grace accepts an intern to work at the office (played by guest star Natasha Lyonne) who begins to develop more than a passing resemblance to Karen. Volume One contains episodes that are as innovative as ever. The show is contagiously funny and is essential viewing for anyone with a sense of humour or simply needs some cheering up. America comes out with SO many TV series it must be difficult to come up with one that will stand out from the rest, but I believe this one does just that. The relationship between Will And Grace, a gay man and his best friend is one that can only be described as dysfunctional. They are, in all but name, an old married couple. I think we all have, or have had friends where that has happened! I think where this series is unique, is the other characters, Karen and Jack. Karen is by far the funniest character in the whole series. The not so hard working assistant of Grace, a New York socialite who's one liners will have you belly laughing. And Jack, the gay friend of Will. Camp as a row of tents and proud of it. All in all, it is a winning combination. Start at the beginning, get this DVD first, then progress to the next. Like most US series, there are about 26 episodes per series (3 DVD's per series), so plenty to keep us amused.

thought i'd buy this to try out the series as not seen it before. very funny, and well worth buying

Ich denke, als schwuler Mann in Verbindung mit meiner besten Freundin kann ich behaupten, dass Will and Grace eine mehr als gelungene Darstellung unseres Lebens ist (mit uns meine ich auch nur uns...) Aber ist ja mal wieder typisch... 60 Prozent der Jokes... inklusive der Charakter (Originalstimmen) gehen in der zur Zeit ausgestrahlten deutschen Synchronfassung unter. Jungs und Mädels... Männer und Frauen... Schwule, Lesben... Heteros und Heteras... kauft euch die Sitcom im Original auf DVD und ihr habt mächtig was zum Lachen!!! Versprochen! Einziger Nachteil: Die DVD gibt es nur im Original, d. h. nur Englisch und es sind keinerlei Untertitel vorhanden! Aber für die weniger gut Englisch sprechenden unter euch... alleine die Aufmachung (Darsteller, Gesten, Bühnenbild...) verrät schon viel... Auf der ersten DVD ist einiges an Bonusmaterial vorhanden! Auch sehenswert (Interviews, Bildergalerie) Viel Spaß!

Will und Grace.. ein Paar wie Pech wie Schwefel oder wie Feuer und Wasser? Der schwule Will und die hetero Grace sind fast wie ein Geschwisterpaar. Allerdings haben sie sich erst im Studium kennengelernt. Er ist Jurist; sie ist Innenarchitektin. (Eigentlich sollte es umgekehrt sein) Im Grunde geht es um die alltäglichen Probleme des New Yorker Yuppie-Lebens.. Und dann sind da noch Jack und Karen. Er die Schwuppe schlechthin, sie hat kein Haar auf den Zähnen. Zusammen ergeben die Vier das Team, das jede Situation in lachende Brüller verwandelt. Wobei der Humor noch in der original-version am besten rüber kommt. Alles in allem ein Genuss, auch für den heterosexuellen Zuschauer. Kurzum, einfach genial

Die großartige Sitcom aus USA endlich in Deutschland erhältlich. Der smarte Yuppie-Anwalt Will Truman und seine beste Freundin, die durchgeknallte Designerin Grace Adler leben in ihrer Wohnung in Manhattan und zeigen uns mit ihren Freunden Jack und Karen ihr Leben und ihre Liebe. Moment - Liebe? Naja, schon irgendwie. Zwar sind sie sich wirklich sehr nahe aber einen Haken hat diese "kranke" Beziehung doch: Will ist schwul. Und so sind sie "derselbe Typ Frau". Ihre Männer und sie selbst bringen den Zuschauer immer wieder zum lachen, und egal ob man sich die Episode zum ersten oder zum 20. mal anschaut die Gags nutzen sich nicht ab. Wer des Englischen mächtig ist und sich mal wirklich totlachen will, sollte sich diese DVD zulegen. Schade für das deutschsprachige Publikum dass die deutsche Übersetzung weder als Untertitel noch als Sprachversion zu bekommen ist. Aber als UK-Import war das auch nicht zu erwarten. Mein Fazit: Wer Englisch spricht und sich _richtig_ gut unterhalten lassen will: Kaufen!!

Porca pupazza mettete i sottotitoliiiiiiiiii....con l'americano io ho particolari problemi di comprensione, questa poi è una commedia piena di battute e doppi sensi, dove parlano a macchinetta. .....PESSIMO PRODOTTO...anche se la serie la conosco ed sarebbe carina e divertente. ..
