These recessed lights are amazing. Installation was quick, and the lights are bright with a nice even spread. I love that they have adjustable color temperatures. They made my living room look much more modern and clean. Highly recommend

1-Year Update: After a few months, couple of the lights started flickering ... after 1 year, 10 of 12 lights are flickering - can only control from app & not from wall switch (or you lose all settings - supposedly they have now updated this to save settings). Company DID stand behind product with refund so kudos to them -but- I can't get back the couple days for installation & replacement and never having lights that did what was promised. Gonna throw these away & find some more reliable "dumb" lights because these "smart" lights are pretty stupid. Original review: Installed these lights in my basement and they have a great light quality. Bright and adjustable to all colors with a few tricks in the app to allow for zones, light matching to music and other neat smart features. The lights are controlled with a very common light control app that many other manufacturers use so support should be ongoing. One thing that sorta bugged me is: I have three light switches on the wall (3 zones in my basement) and it’s way too easy to flip your wall switch one or two times too many and you lose all the programming of the lights. Bad design as would make more sense if it was much harder to lose your programming by turning the switch off and on. As it stands if you turn the wall switch on/off like 3x in 10 seconds, it resets the system and all lights flicker until you add them back to the system. I understand why they do that but if any guests try to turn lights on/off to figure out which zone they want on, they keep deleting my programming and I have to pull out the app and reprogram everything… it’s a real dumb app design and should be changed. The biggest issue is they seem to think you will only use the app to turn lights on and off (and not wall switches) and that is just inconvenient to have to pull out the app every time. You can use a light switch but don’t accidentally turn it on off a couple times or your SOL and will have to go though the whole programming sequence again.

Edit: These lights come with a mesh gateway that must be used to make Alexa work. I didn't find it until I opened the second box. So with that said, the lights work great, Alexa can't change the colors tho that has to be done in tuya app. These lights are my second brand to try, and are still failing to act right. The lights themselves work great, for now. But the app linked with alexa DOES NOT work, and it does not work with Google home either. I tried both with no success. If it's going to say it works with them they need to release an update to make it work.

I love these smart recessed lights which be controlled with a smartphone or remote. You can download the "Tuya Smart" app to control the lights, change color temperatures, adjust brightness, and access various scene modes. You won’t be disappointed with these lights whether it is installed on your patio or basement.

I love these light. Very easy to install and super easy to use with remote and app. I turned my back porch into a night club!! LOL, my kids love it too. And a whole lot cheaper than any other brand out there. I saw a phillips brand at lowes, a one pack for $60!! I got 12 for $160. Can't beat that!! Love the vibe they give out. And u have countless colors through the app. Remote only has green, blue, red. Plus the different white settings. Definitely recommended these lights.
