Exceptional product. Well engineered with clear instructions so a person with reasonable mechanical skills and basic shop tools can install it. It effectively moves an older fifth wheel camper 10" farther back from the king pin connection point of the towing pick up truck. This allows newer models of pickup truck to tow older fifth wheel campers. Tailgates can be left fully open when coupling and can, when necessary, be coupled when the tow vehicle and trailer are at an angle to each other. Also permits a short box truck to tow a fifth wheel trailer without the cost of a specialized 5th wheel hitch that slides back when turning. Simply measure the distance from the connection point on your 5th wheel hitch to the rearmost corners of truck and then see if those dimensions are less than the distance from 10" ahead of the trailers current king pin to the nearest horizontal point of contact to the body of the trailer behind the king pin. Do similar measurements where the front corners of the trailer that previously risked damage to the truck cab when turning. My installation allows me to back in fully and connect to the trailer without having to raise the tailgate just before coupling. No longer a danger of damaging the hatch door under the gooseneck when coupling or damaging the cab of the truck in 45 degree turns. A lot cheaper than a new camper.

Works as advertised. I have a Ford f150 with a 5.6 foot bed, this puts the trailer back far enough to make your turns with confidence..
