No more stuck food!
Just about every morning during our fall and winter, I start my day with a steaming bowl of oatmeal topped with brown sugar and half and half. After I enjoy that delicious breakfast, I have to go into the kitchen and scrub out the bottom of the pot that I made my oatmeal in. There has to be a better way. I found it by ordering this wonderful pot from Amazon. My days of soaking my oatmeal coated pot and scrubbing the bottom are over. This sturdy pot arrived to rescue me from that daily grind. Besides being good looking, it has heft and weight and comes with a tight fighting glass lid. You too can stop scrubbing your pots if you do the same and start your own collection of non stick pans. Next purchase for me is their 4 quart saucepan.

Solid, Nonstick, and Perfect for Small Meals
This saucepan heats evenly and cooks sauces, oatmeal, or soups perfectly without sticking. The nonstick hard-anodized surface makes cooking and cleanup easy. The 1.5-quart size is ideal for small batches or side dishes. The lid fits tightly and helps keep heat in. The build feels sturdy and durable, just like you expect from Cuisinart. Overall this is a high-quality saucepan that works well for everyday cooking and is a great addition to any kitchen.

PROFESSIONAL COOKWARE
This is top notch cookware. The pan is well balanced; heats fast and evenly, easy to clean. I started with a small saucepan, but I plan on expanding my collection.

A Great Replacement
This pan is a close facsimile to replace the one I had for over 15 years prior. A worthy replacement!

Durable, dependable pan saves time and water
Well-constructed saucepan with black non-stick surface, has served me well after months of daily cooking over range of different temperatures and contents. The non-stick surface allows for cooking notoriously sticky foods like eggs, oatmeal and rice without oils or excess liquids, that can be transferred cleanly to dishes (I suggest wiping the surface with oil to seal the pores before the new pan is first used, wash off with soapy water). Crusting or browning at the bottom during high heat cooking can be easily nudged off with silicone spatula/spoonula. Extensive cleaning not necessary, thus saves water. Uninsulated handle remains cool during cooking but the handle on the glass cover gets hot, so use a cloth or paper towel to grab it. One minor drawback is the transfer of smell after cooking salmon, presumably because the fish oil is adsorbed to the pores. Got another pan for cooking the innocuous foods, not unlike the need to segregate meat and dairy dishes. This is not a problem for me, but might be important if dietary restrictions apply.

Love, Love, Love this sauce pan!
Love that this is hard anodized, it will last forever, wash by hand (even if it states it is dishwasher safe.). Easy cleanup, a little soap and water. I do not use nonstick sprays from aerosol can with this particular brand. Definitely worth it!

Would Recommend
I had just moved and needed new cookware. The furnished pots and pans were in poor condition. It wasn’t long before I found this little pot. A nice clean design that boasted quality for a price. It came quickly and was well packaged. I have had no issues with using or cleaning it. Small and efficient. Great for steaming vegetables or cooking sauces in the background, while you focus on preparing the main dish. I have had mine for about a month and have yet to see any wear/tear. I recommend it!

Really nice pan but ouch the handle is hot
This is a very sturdy, solid saucepan and definitely nonstick. Cooks well. But I've had mostly Farberware pans and never had these important problem -- the handle of the Cuisinart lid becomes so hot it can burn your fingers. It's metal material. I have tried for 1 1/2 months to adjust myself to this. But I cannot be cooking by lifting a lid and quickly dropping it somewhere just to get it out of my hands. I also bought a 1 qt. regular metal Cuisinart pan. I really like it too, but same problem. I looked at all Cuisinart pans hoping to find a different lid handle. All the same metal. I'm going to try return these. They really are a hazard, in a way. By the way, the "product support" contact on OrderReceipt page at Amazon goes straight to Cuisinart. Their phone rep said nothing they can do (there isn't a different lid to send, and any return/problem goes to Amazon)
