Great Quality and Even Heating
This saucepan feels sturdy, heats evenly, and is perfect for everyday cooking. The lid fits well, the handle stays cool, and it’s easy to clean. It’s a great size for small meals or sauces, and overall an excellent value for the price.

Good pan. Moderate price for good quality
Great heavy stainless pan. Heats evenly. Going to add the 3 qt next. Note I did get this on sale here. But even at Amazons regular price it is worth it.

Good quality but not what is shown in the pictures
I was replacing a broken saucepan that I didn't know the capacity of so I measured it and bought this pan since it showed the same measurements. Don't be mislead, this pan is NOT 4.7 inches deep as shown. It's less than 3.25. the 4.7 is the height of the handle. Although it was not my main criteria, yes it does hold 1.5 quarts......if you fill it right up to the rim. The quality is very good and I'll keep it but it is not what is shown in the pictures.

CANT GO WRONG
I bought this to replace a the same pot I bought 20 years ago that my boyfriend boiled water black in. The style is very very similar and blends well with my old set. It has a very slightly different shape now and there are lines etched inside to measure liquid. Actually feels even more solid than the old chef classic.

The perfect small utility saucepan ...
I have purchased this pan a few times over the years. I use it constantly and sometimes forget when I leave it on the stove boiling water and walk away. Yes, I have warped more than one of these saucepans over the years. If you leave it boiling water on the highest heat setting for a few hours the water will eventually evaporate the pan will turn light blue and warp. : ) PROS: - The small size makes it very convenient to prepare a couple of servings or just to boil water for a cup of tea. - The Cuisinart Chef Classic heats faster than the Cuisinart Multi-Clad. I prefer it for quickly boiling water or making soup. - The stainless steel finish is beautiful and easy to clean with a little Barkeepers Friend. - This line of cookware will last for years. - The Cuisinart Chef Classic cookware is relatively lite in weight compared to the multi-clad options on the market. - Cooking is very even and predictable. - No drips when pouring directly from the pan. - If you forget and leave the pan boiling water on the highest heat setting for a few hours it can be replaced for a few dollars. - Excellent saucepan for the price. CONS: - Your visitors will envy you for having such beautiful and sparkling cookware. Friends are actually intimidated when they see the gleaming stainless steel Cuisinart pans in my kitchen. Their first question is always, do ever cook in these pans? I laugh and respond every day. : )

High quality materials and finish. Highly recommend.
High quality materials and finish. The pan's edge allows for easy pouring without drips running down the outside of the pan. Perfect size for small quantities; can of soup, hot chocolate, etc. I highly recommend the Cuisinart Chef's Classic 1.5 quart stainless steel saucepan. I have several other sizes of Chef's Classic saucepans and an 8 quart stock pot, all of them are top quality.

simple and very useful
Good pot. Much better than all the nonstick chemical coated pots I’ve used. It’s simple but effective. I like cooking my rice in this pot. I can easily cook 4 portions of rice in it and could probably fit more. But it also doesn’t feel oversized if you’re cooking less rice in it. The lid naturally falls into place and you can also prop it up a bit to the side so there’s a gap for steam to come out. I recommend this pot.
