Review: 🌿 A Fizzy Blast from the Past with Zero Guilt! 🥤✨ - The Quick Sip: Pros & Cons ❌ The Cons * ❌ Distinctive aniseed undertone may not please fans of traditional root beer. * ❌ Lacks the heavy, syrupy mouthfeel of the original sugar-packed version. * ❌ Bulk 24-packs require significant cupboard or fridge real estate. ✅ The Pros * ✅ Masterfully replicates the nostalgic, deeply aromatic herbal punch of classic D&B. * ✅ Zero sugar formulation leaves absolutely no bitter or chemical aftertaste. * ✅ Fully caffeine-free recipe makes it perfect for late-night refreshment. * ✅ Excellent value per can when bought in this bulk 24-pack configuration. * ✅ Crisp carbonation provides a genuinely satisfying, throat-tingling fizz. ------------------------------ The Deep Dive: Why This Retro Brew Totally Rocks! 🧐🔮 Finding a zero-sugar carbonated drink that retains its soul can feel like a quest for the Holy Grail, but this bulk pack of D&B absolutely delivers! It bursts open with that unmistakably rich, dark, and complex herbal aroma that instantly transports the senses straight back to a traditional British sweet shop. The flavour balance achieved here is genuinely impressive. While many diet versions of classic sodas end up tasting thin or overwhelmingly artificial, this recipe holds its own with a bold blend of dandelion and burdock root notes. It strikes a beautiful harmony between a gentle wintergreen warmth, a hint of liquorice, and a clean sweetness. Because it skips the sugar entirely, the liquid is incredibly crisp and refreshing, quenching thirst without leaving that heavy, sticky film on the teeth. It is a fantastic option for anyone managing their calorie intake or looking to cut down on sugar without sacrificing a genuinely interesting flavour profile. Being completely caffeine-free, it serves equally well as a midday pick-me-up or a late-night treat over ice. The 330ml cans arrive perfectly carbonated, holding their fizz beautifully from the first pop to the very last drop. For fans of unique, heritage flavours looking for a lighter way to indulge, this bulk pack is an absolute winner! 🏁🎉 ------------------------------
Review: Childhood taste - As a child holidaying in the Midlands, I always brought dandelion and burdock home as it wasn't available at home. Now it is, thank goodness, and is back to first place in my list of favourite flavours. This large pack was not only more economic, but I didn't need to lug it about much, which at my age is a definite bonus.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice drink but price went up
*by C***E on 11 July 2026*

I don't drink fizzy drinks very often as not keen on some but this reminds me off when used to have chippy with a can of d&b. It was at a normal price of other drinks you could get in shops. Sadly had to get some from somewhere else as the price doubled. 5* for drinks 0* for price hike.
